It’s very good, but I preferred 14 and 16 when I ran them together. I’ll have to do it again in a month or so. For science.

14, 16 then 15 were my rankings. But that could easily change next time.
Had the choice of Shenk’s or Bomberger’s. I chose the higher proof. Also, I didn’t need another Blood Oath Pact 7, but it was there.

Fine. I have a Chicken Cock Rye that's been unopened for months. I'll get it out. Which also got me to thinking, Chicken Cock has a special release annually about this time of year. So I went to their website to check what it was going to be.
20 year rye, sweet! $499, um, one of you guys buy it and I'll come over to help you drink it. That bottle and tin are awesome though. Even empty, I bet those could get $50-100.

I already did. It's really, REALLY good. I tried it neat.
It was hard for me to pick apart the individual flavors, because my brain was screaming, "You know this taste!"
It took a while to put my finger on it. Molasses sweetness, a little vanilla, and a light fruity/woody funk reminded me of something I haven't tasted since I was a teenager - chewing tobacco.
I'm going back to this with a little water next time to try to pick it apart. But it was $88 well spent.
I got a ticket to pick up a very limited edition distillery product only today. I got the ticket without looking at the date… as I’m 1200 miles away today. :-(
Ooof. Spouse or someone else pick it up for you? I know those things are tough because people use those kinds of excuses all the time for scalping.
