Nice. I should have mine "soon."
Much better option and value. Stagg Jr is good too, but Weller 12 at that price is a snap buy. Finally got another invitation to the ABC Vault today (the easiest way for me to pick up hard-to-find bottles locally).
This time the email was only ten minutes old when I got to it, but the Stagg Jr. was already gone. Still, I finally picked up a Weller 12 for $30 + tax so I can't complain too much.
Well my favorite wine has a screw-top, so why not?Much better option and value. Stagg Jr is good too, but Weller 12 at that price is a snap buy.
I mean, if you like screw-tops....
yoooo my grail
i was looking for bombergers and shenks about a month ago. I was open to trading big for them, but have since acquired both with back up bottles.Anyone interested in trading? I have a bottle of each of Bomberger’s and Shenks. Looking for something(s) of equivalent value. PM me with what you’ve got, if interested.

It was Rebel 10...thanks Joe.How do you know that you have too many open bottles? You pour yourself an ounce in a glen. Let it air out for 5 minutes. Forget what you poured. Taste it. Need to go down to the whiskey wall to confirm. Repeat.
I do this about once/week. I pour something and let it sit, then I forget what it is. My wife is not amused. How do you know that you have too many open bottles? You pour yourself an ounce in a glen. This bottle and the Wild Turkey 101 make for some extremely affordable bourbon adventures. The Evan Williams BiB was one of the first bourbons I purchased (I started with Scotch).Evan Williams black label is my go to cheapo mixer, I buy it by the handle. This is the first time I've spied the BiB white label so I figured I'd give it a shot. Not many bottles you can slam down a twenty dollar bill on the counter and walk out with something you'd happliy drink neat. Sweet caramel and vanilla on the nose and pallete, and really smooth for 100 proof. A bit of pepper on the finish. Nothing terribly complex and deep here but for a sub $20 bottle I was pretty impressed. Perfect bourbon for a cigar night, I'll definitely be grabbing more.
