First pour tonight is Thomas S Moore (chardonnay cask finish). Really not a bad pour, but really looking forward to the Cab Sauv, and then back to the port finish. Finally a day off tomorrow, been a hell of a week

I just killed my first bottle of Old Ezra 7yr. I believe that it is a great value, as good as Old Forester 1920, though, completely different.

I have a couple bottles in reserve, from when I thought that it was rare around me. But I’m happy to know that it is now well stocked in 2 stores near me.

What did Idaho think would happen, when they had a PUBLIC website that contained EVERY BOTTLE that was in every shipment to every liquor store? Did they think bourbon scalpers would somehow not make it to their state?
Seriously. Realtime inventory is a nightmare in this environment.

So you’re saying I should go back tomorrow and hope they still have another one left. They had three more on the shelf, but they’re one per customer per day.
Depends on price. I see it here all day long at $75 or more. I'd snatch it up at $60.

It's weird that they have cut back on their lottery sales at the same time. I do remember getting many more emails about drawings.

Mrs. Baroo says I don’t need any encouragement lol

But in all seriousness, this really is a great one! Definitely gonna try to grab another one tomorrow.
It is a fantastic rye, totally underrated or looked over by most. But be careful: it is too smooth and doesn’t drink at all like its high proof-point.
