Trade samples?

Also do you (or anyone else here) know if there is a difference between scenes of MWND?
maybe on samples - haven't done that before

unsure on flavor differences between mwnds as I haven't tasted side by side yet

I was summoned to this thread. Nice to see Laphroaig here, as I'm somewhat of an extreme whiskey drinker... meaning I like to drink either extremely peaty and medicinal whiskeys - like the Laphroaig Quarter Cask, Ardbeg Uigeadail - or very sweet, like Bushmills 21 y.o. Depends on the mood. Cheers!

Ok… These are all fantastic. All are clearly the same whiskey, with the Single Barrel Select like a bridge to Booker’s. This is my first time tasting the 15yr. I was worried that it would be over oaked for my liking, but it is not.

9yr - Such a great value. It has always been one of my favorites as a “daily drinker.”

12yr - I think that this is the sweet spot. All the good things of the 9yr and 15yr. So good. Glad that I have like 6 more bottles squirreled away.

15yr - Very similar to the 12yr, but oak is amped up a bit, and more of a drying finish. Thanks so much for getting me this bottle, @Big Jilm.

Single Barrel Select - I’m a proof whore, so this is my favorite. If I could find one that is older (12-14yrs, ahem, @JeepologyOffroad) then I might find Bourbon Nirvana. As I said, this is like a bridge to Booker’s, especially because my bottle was selected by Freddie Noe himself for the San Diego Barrel Boys.

Good haul yesterday, thanks to @RocAFella1 for my first ever ETL. We put a good dent in the EC B521 last night at the game, definitely the best batch I’ve ever had.

If anybody’s looking for a Michters 10 I’d be willing to trade it plus cash or chips for a any 4R LE I don’t have or any bottle of GTS. Also would consider doing it for like 3 good 4R store picks. Hit me up.
