Damn, well it is just the neck pour. But so far, the new 119.84 proof is not nearly as good as the 118.58 proof. I shall try them again next week. I have 1 open plus 3 back ups of 119 and only 2 sealed bottles of 118. I hope this gets good FAST
You had me worried. So I checked. My open and its 3 backups are all 118s. So I will not experience the 119.

Posse? No sir. Bourbon Mafia and the Ryes Guys.

Btw way I reserve all rights, patent pending bitches.

Pretty good surprise here. Was kinda pressured into it, but turned out right.

Tropical fruit punch nose that transitions to chocolate with some air time.

Mainly leather and chocolate, with some corn and light tobacco on the palate.

Kinda of back to some fruit on the finish.

Encouraging bottle at $50

I don't know why people are panning this. It's really good.
I panned it because the single barrel barrel proof JD is cheaper, better, easier to find, and higher proof. The JD10 I have is not better than the JD SB BP I have. It's good, but not good enough.

Curious, any love here for the Russel's 10 Year. It has been sitting in my garbo pile for some time.....but I have never tried it. LMK if I should pop it or drop it.

We put a good dent in the EC B521 last night at the game, definitely the best batch I’ve ever had.
Finally poured my bottle that’s been open for a few months. To me, it’s worth the $70 price tag. The lower proof is full of flavor but doesn’t pack the punch of my favorite batches: C919, B520 and C920. Still very good.

I agree with this sentiment wholeheartedly!

I'm guessing this is the last bottle of this I will ever see in the wild. It's been on this shelf for a couple weeks now. People around me JUST DON'T KNOW. And I'm ok with that.

No pics, but I had a nice full pour of Blanton's when I got home. Very enjoyable, not sure why I look down on it so much.
Next pour was Smoke Wagon, the regular bottle. Low proof but still delicious. Cheers!
