Find me a better old fashioned. Seriously. If there is one better, I’d like to try it.

Nice brotha! I say demarara syrup 1/4 oz vs simple and try the Fabbri Amarena cherries. Nothing wrong with the luxardo maraschinos too.

I will try one with Kentucky Owl #4 and one with Old Pepper, FOR SCIENCE!!!!

My 3 favorite unfinished ryes. After these, I've got 3 or 4 more Alberta's, 2 more KO4, and only the one (for now) OP FKO. I think KO4 will take it heads up between the other 2, we shall see. However, the better old fashioned?? We shall see. Stay thirsty my friends!

Got into a Sagamore rye calvados finished. Was really solid. And then the cork broke! Ffs.

Corks can be replaced. I hate that though!! Always a good idea to save different sized corks for such an occasion. Just a make a sure you soak a da corks all night!

It was maybe the third time the bottle had been opened. And I’ve got some old bottles man, and I’ve got some bottles they don’t get big pours from that have been slowly drunk a dram at a time over a decade and their corks are going fine, this thing was brand spanking new.

We found a wine cork and stuffed it in so I could get the bottle hole at least.

My wife mentioned this today and my response was "who in the hell would drink crab flavored whiskey?". Figured this would be some good old boys down on the shore messing around. Looks like a product of New England area. Them folks is all sorts of backwards;)

I love blue crabs. I don’t know what green crabs are but I’m a sucker for anything clam or crab flavored.

From last night's "bourbon game":

First time I've had this one, and I can't complain. It was straightforward and easy to drink: sweet, smooth vanilla, a little caramel and light oak, 90 proof. Having never heard of it, I guessed it was about a $40 bottle and was spot on.

I made up some of the ground I lost last week: in for $50 and out for $140.

The worst part of the night was when the host poured me a whiskey, and I almost immediately knocked it into my lap while dealing a hand! I looked like I'd wet my pants, and everyone (myself included) had a good laugh.

Then I sat there with uncomfortably wet jeans for the next 45 minutes while they were drying. Luckily, the host got me another drink so I didn't have to shame myself any further by going to the bar... :ROFLMAO:
