One of my poker players brought that.

I had a game Friday, and I always move the stuff I want them to drink up front.

Its actually not terrible for a $19.99 bottle...

I tried it, and it was meh.

But I'm not an Irish whiskey fan, so I wasn't sure if it was my pallet, the bottle, or both.

As I’m leaving my local store with a bottle of Rare Breed, the manager comes out of the back and hands me a bottle and says “give this one a try…it was given to me by the sales rep and I don’t want it”. Um, okay lol

He did say that he kept the 15yr for himself…guess I’m not THAT good of a customer yet

It’s pretty good but I had a different barrel earlier this year that I thought was a bit better. This pour was the neck pour, so I’ll assess again after a few more pours. The Old Ezra I’m having now is excellent!

I really like this one! I liked it enough to grab a second bottle after tasting it. It’s a bit sweeter and less oaky than the Ezra cask barrel. Still way behind the Old Ezra though.

Honestly, I have a lot of great bottles... many of which I overpaid for... but I don't care if I never own a Pappy. I've had the Lot B and the Old Rip, and they are great. But not worth the money. Not even close.
