This would be my new default store for everything if I lived within 3hr of it, that's a fantastic system! You found it! Good deal. So did I. Along with a couple others I've been wanting to add.

Also found my new go-to liquor store. Unfortunately it's a 40 min drive from my house, but worth it for the way they do business.
Example, I spent $180 today and got 9 tickets. One more ticket and I can buy a bottle of Eagle Rare for $32. They had 3-4 on the shelf today.
- First - everything is retail, or close to it.
- The selection of on the shelf products was as good or better than some of the MUCH larger stores near my house where I've been shopping. Total Wine and a Texas chain called Spec's.
- Every $20 spent gets a Loyalty ticket. They call them LPs for Loyalty Points.
- Each ticket has two halves - one you save up for the Loyalty Points rewards and the other for a raffle they hold 2-3 times a year.
- The Loyalty rewards section (visible behind the counter) has a great selection of hard to find and allocated bottles. Save up enough Loyalty Points tickets and you can trade them in to buy a hard to find bottle. At RETAIL!
- Not sure yet exactly how the raffle works, but if your ticket gets drawn, you get to buy something good. Again, at retail. My son says it's very worth it if your ticket gets pulled. I think they have a selection of bottles available and as the tickets get pulled, the winner chooses the one they want to buy.
Or I can save up for:
Blanton's - 30 LP $60
ECBP - 15 LP $65
G T Stagg Jr - 30 LP $60
Heaven Hill 7YR BiB - 15 LP $40
KC 100p 15YR LE - 15 LP $109
Larceny BP - 20 LP $60
Little Book Ch 6 - 15 LP $130
OF SiB BS - 30 LP $80
Weller Antique - 30 LP $50
And if I want to save LPs for a longer time:
Col. EHT BP - 150 LP $76
EC SiB 18YR - 50 LP $150
G T Stagg Sr - 150 LP $100
Pappy 15 - 500 LP $139
Thomas H. Handy - 200 LP $90
Van Winkle 12 - 250 LP $80
Weller Full Proof - 80 LP $50
Weller CYPB - 120 LP $50
Willett 8YR - 60 LP $246
Most or all of these were on the shelf, in stock when I was there today. I should have taken a pic. It was pretty cool to see.
FYI, this long message was mostly for me to remember all these as I was looking them up on their website. LOL. But feel free to give me advice on what you would save up for if you were in my place. Would you get something quick on the short list, or save up for something bigger?
It's essentially just an age stated Sazerac Jr afaik, hard to find and a fair price? sure I guess.Anyone had the BT Kosher Rye? $50 a fair price?
Yeah, it's a pretty cool place. I'm giving my son a hard time for not stressing how awesome they are. I'm pretty new to drinking much whiskey. Three months ago I was drinking 90% craft beer, and had maybe 2-3 bottles of bourbon on the liquor shelf. Now I have over 20 and had to clear out space in a different storage cabinet. I just wish I had bought most of those 20 new bottles at this place. I would already have usable points, or be well on the way to getting something great. This would be my new default store for everything if I lived within 3hr of it, that's a fantastic system!
Stagg jr, Willett 8yr, GTS would be my targets, their standard secondary prices are about the $ it would cost to get the points + retail price. AND you get your other hundreds of dollars of beverages FREE haha.

Don’t use your precious points on ECBP or 107, too easy to find them at not too much of a markup, at least save up for the Stagg Jr!Yeah, it's a pretty cool place. Because I'm a nerd, and love to list and rank everything, I put all those bottles, and a few more in a spreadsheet so I could tabulate the points, assess against the cost, and come up with the order I want to go after certain bottles. I'm torn between whether I want a backup ECBP, which I can probably get my next trip over there. Or saving til I have 30 for the Stagg Jr. Problem is, I'm so well stocked now that I really don't need anything new for probably several months. Not that that's going to stop me from adding on...
Anyway, after I get Stagg Jr, then I'll probably start a long term savings program. Kinda like a 401K??? Save now to reap the benefits years down the road? If I can make it that long, I want the EHTBP at 150. If not, I might break down at 80 and get Weller Full Proof. And if I completely give up saving for any of the big ones, then I'll just get Weller 107 and OF SiB BS. We shall see how this plays out.
So delicious and approachable! This is my gift/gateway bourbon for people.Fantastic bottle!View attachment 1035157
4 roses Single Barrel is my favorite of the 4 roses line. Can't beat it for the price (in the 4 roses line, at least).Fantastic bottle!View attachment 1035157
Can't wait to open up the bottle I found at Thanksgiving...
I thought you were joking about the case. But they literally have a 12-pack "created for connoisseurs" lol.Why stop at two? Buy a case of 12 for $2850 and really bank. If you have a connection that will buy at secondary.
I hear you, but I'm pretty much not going to go anyplace else because then I don't get any points. I've never seen either of them available. And C922 is no more, so stock is going to get less and less until it's all gone except for secondary. I do know one store that I might be able to score a 107, but I won't buy that with points until well after I have Stagg Jr anyway. It's #1 on my list right now.Don’t use your precious points on ECBP or 107, too easy to find them at not too much of a markup, at least save up for the Stagg Jr!
Nice. That’s my wheelhouse. You looking to sell or trade?
It was my gateway drug into this obsession. So delicious and approachable! This is my gift/gateway bourbon for people.
I've been stuck on Knob Creek 120 lately, bit of a proof hound and its just too good to pass up if its available.
no bad choices there
