A friend is attending an allocated bourbon event in GA this weekend. They should have about 300 bottles for 100 customers and he's #76. You get to go through and then move to the back of the line and choose another bottle.
He's making a wish list and figures the best bottles will be gone the first round. I know it's subjective, but I'm asking the experts here for some help. Need some good value bottles mixed in since he's going near the end. What are the top say 15 bottles he should shoot for?

Seriously???? I'm a huge JD fan and even I say that's nonsense.
Totally this ^^^ the Triple Mash is IMHO easily the better of their two new offerings. And it's really not close.
I will say though that I do appreciate that Whiskey Advocate includes affordable/common bottles in their top 10, I like that they attempt to include value in the equation and not simply include a bunch of $300 bottles that 98% of fans can't get. Just don't make it #1 lol. I'm curious to see the rest of the top 20, other than the 2 very common bottles, there's not much I've seen available around here.

So you're saying, that a magazine, that accepts advertising, selected a bourbon from a business that has millions to spend on advertising? 
...again? (JD 10 yr was #4 last year, and JD SB was #3 in 2018)
I'd rather read a list of top 20s here, compiled by readership that sent in a 1-100 scale via PM only (so as to not encourage "me too" ratings like like Yelp or TripAdvisor).
I'd be happy to compile the list (and not rate anything myself so as to not influence ratings). I would then make a PCF top 20 list at the end of the year.

I agree, I would take RR private barrel over ECBP, but I am a major turkey fan,
