I guess there’s no better time than now to try the sample you sent.Like a cross between Russel's Reserve 13 and Lucky Seven 14 Proprietor. AMAZING!
It’s very good, Jim. Thank you.
You too.Even once is epic
Savor ever drop sir
A jar of water, and not even a full one! Were you a bad boy this year? Did you get a lump of coal too?
Saw the New Riff malted in the wild here today for the first time. I still have 2 bottles I picked up when we picked our donkey juice but it is good stuff!
mix it with mt. dew.
so what do you thinkCelebrating my last day of work for the year with a tasty sample of Weller FP

There is a bitterness here I don't care for. Less pronounced than my first sip. They need better quality barrels? Not sure.....making shit up. But the bitter is not my friend. But-I bet this is really good in the bottom half of the bottle.View attachment 1045766
Trying this again. The first pour was not my favorite. It made a hell of a bourbon and ginger though.
Edit: I should focus better
Very nice. Sweet on the nose, lots of sugar, dark vanilla and some black cherry. Palate matches almost exactly with some added spice and oak. Gets darker as it sits and finishes. I don't necessarily see why this goes for crazy secondary prices (I've never seen it around here under $300), but it's a really nice pour.so what do you think
I like it a lot! however i would never pay 300, I paid $50Very nice. Sweet on the nose, lots of sugar, dark vanilla and some black cherry. Palate matches almost exactly with some added spice and oak. We're in the middle of an icepocalypse. This should warm the cockles.
Good
Me too. Mainly due to this thread back in the day. Funny part is I’ll have them for quite some time because unlike many, I can’t stand basically the entire Heaven Hill lineup.B520 is my favorite batch. I've got a few of them hidden away.
