I had a taste at the store, it's what convinced me to grab it. Very tasty, oakey toasted marshmallows.

Some more initial thoughts: very sweet on the nose, vanilla and toasted sugars with just a hint of dark cherry. Palate is hot and spicy up front with a bit of cinnamon that quickly fades to the sweeter toasted marshmallow and barrel char. This pick is only a 3 on the char so it's on the lighter, sweeter side for a toasted barrel. I think letting this sit and rest for a few weeks will do wonders.

Here’s the thing: unless you would rather save $20 bucks and plan to use the whole bottle, why not get something that you’d also like to drink on its own, since I’m guessing you’re not putting the whole bottle in the eggnog.
