My wife knows how much whiskey costs, and she knows how much poker chips cost.

When a package arrives in the mail these days, I tell her "whiskey" and get the Wifely Nod of Approval.

My wife finds several bottles of whiskey in a box stuffed behind the linen closet. She looks over at me and I’m like

Plus your secret stash at the in-laws. :x:ninja:

I've been on the hunt to get a bottle of Blantons. Actually I'd like 2 - I have a friend that'll buy me a box of "whatever cigars I want" from his cigar store if I can get him a bottle of Blantons.

In Kansas City - so far it's been hard to come across even one bottle for sale. My nearby store tells me they might get one bottle a month. The good news is that they only charge around $70 bucks for it.

Anybody got a lead on how to get hold of Blantons outside the normal retail chain?

Thanks!
Toby

I usually have a few to give away. I’ll check to see if I have any left. If you want it really bad I can always trade locally for it.

French oak. Good, but very dry. You bourbon fans would probably hate it.

I love it! Even though I am primarily a bourbon guy, I will drink anything lol. I usually can find something positive about it. Last night I was enjoying a Lagavulin 16 out by the fire with my lovely wife. Then I moved to Barrel Seagrass!

I'm digging this ECBP release, despite them dropping the 12 year age statement. Dark & oaky with those vanilla undertones and a beautiful long finish.

Great minds think alike.
