Last minute work trip in KY, just made it before they closed…had to spring for the purple top flight even if it’s a little pricey - this 14y is unrealView attachment 1177972View attachment 1177973
I did the same thing...pricy, but cheaper than a bottle in the wild and let me know that I should never drop $275 on a purple top. My flight was a 4, 7 and 15 year old. All good, but not $275 good.

Yep, pretty much my conclusions - I’d have spent $3-400 for the 14y, but I’m sure they sell for north of $1k. Had never had a purple top and was fun to taste different expressions all at once

Delicious dinner with my wife at Henlopin City Oyster House in Rehoboth Delaware.

Had a generous pour of Blantons for $14 which was a steal considering the house Cab was $15 a glass. Good times!

Upon being blindsided that one is losing their job in 3 weeks, does one drink higher proof or lower proof? Good stuff or stuff you don’t care as much for?

…..asking for a friend…….

:confused
Upon getting a job offer, one now has to have a pour from one of his favorite bottles.

…. For a friend again, of course…..

Excited Thank God GIF
