Need to have some of this later tonight

Another Scotch & Cigars Under the Stars.

I’ll add to this one post, but started with this:

The 10 is campfire bog. The sherry barrels in the An Oa make for a sweet smoke that’s fantastic. World of difference between them.

Oban 14 is a winner. Talisker was hot scotch. Singleton 15 was pleasant and smooth after the Talisker.

Templeton 4 was a departure from the scotch. Sagamore Double Oak is one of my favorites.

The Nector d’Or was interesting, with the bourbon and Sauternes finishing. But the Signet was surprising. A nutty sweet tiramisu? Dessert wine, and not for me.

Tried the Chivas 18, it was good, but indicated it was time to stop. Finished with a Breckenridge and then one of their mixed drinks- a dark and stormyesque cocktail.

Great night. I think the Ardberg An Oa was the new standout for me.

the glenmorangie signet is not something I like, but it is one of the most unique drams I've ever experienced. Something I was glad to get as a gift and not pay for myself.
