Nothing special, just a restock from Costco.

I’ll try any whiskey though, don’t get me wrong. I might draw the line at flavored whiskey, like peach. That is too much of a slippery slope toward seltzer beer.

Not a big fireball drinker huh

Rye definitely seems to be the new hip thing, but it's definitely not for me either at least so far

Nope, I have not bought any Rye's because I haven't cared for the 5 or so that I've tasted.

Fair enough, man. Everyone has a different palate, that's for sure. I'm a fan of Ryes but some of the more dilly/minty ones are not for me as well. Maybe you could try a barely legal Rye, only 51% rye grain, if you feel inclined. Something like Pikesville. It is not as Rye forward as the 95/5 or 100% Ryes but you got some of the good spices. Or not, if you already gave up. Nothing wrong with that.

Speaking of rye, has anyone else tried Coppersea?

A coworker talked about getting whiskey in the mail and all of a sudden I start seeing the ads in my FB and insta. What’s the best discovery so far?

I dont have a flaviar membership anymore, but it was definitely worth giving a shot. The best thing I got was a sample of 3 really old japanese whiskeys. I still have them but dont remember which they were off the top of my head
