Y’all mfs need Old Overholt 10 year rye in your lives then. It’s beam, so same as the Knob rye that you have there (but older and darker), and same mash bill as bookers rye. And if any of y’all know about the bookers rye and its legendary status, this is as close to bookers rye as beam has put out.

Just grabbed one yesterday. Unfortunately I'm doing dry Jan/Feb...19 days to go.

I was on the fence on this one as it's a bit more than I typically spend. But I did finally pick one up, and I may also grab a backup since it's still easy to find in Houston, and I definitely don't want any "ragrets" if it disappears, never to be found again...

I'm finally starting to see Blue Spot around here - but I can buy 3 bottles of the Redbreast 12 cask strength for 1 bottle of Blue Spot, so for now I'm sticking with Redbreast, lol.

One more glass before bed

I paid $100 for my Blue Spot back when it first dropped. Now it's around $3-400...nuts.

Update: still listed at $94.99 on the PA website, but out of stock.

After a great extended lunch due to 2 cruise ships being in port, sitting on the closed rooftop bar of our hotel of our San Juan in 88 degree sunshine and sipping this. Just superb.

Hope we don't finish the bottle before heading home on Saturday...
