Official WSOP 2022 Chips Thread (2 Viewers)

Looks like the daily deepstacks have a few different RHC sets in play, first time I’ve seen this spot pattern set show up.

That’s a massive stack, looks like you made a nice run?
I did, finished 3rd for $2800. Not sure how many runners, waiting for it to pop up on Hendon Mob. We played for almost 11 hours so I'm guessing 200+ or so.

Congrats! You gonna be there all weekend? I'm flying in this afternoon with a couple other PCF friends from the Bay, playing the $500 tomorrow and maybe sunday.

I hear ya.

I just mean from a business standpoint, I'm shocked they actually got so many different ones.
Their chip expense is gonna be a rounding error in their budget for this lolapalooza. And if having one more different set makes their logistics even a tiny bit easier then it pays for itself.

Came home yesterday, only there for one day - shot a bit of video and will likely put it up on YouTube today, I'll post it here.

But the nightmare of us creating fantasy sets! Do they not care about what they have done to us?!?

Au contraire! I think they've been here doing some extensive research. "Let's make chips with a crappy house mold, a bland inlay with denominations you can't read and asymmetrical two-color spot patterns. Top it off with a red T5000 and I am sure no one on PCF would ever try and copy these!" I think they've succeeded somewhat :P

Let's face it. There will be cards mold group buys for most of it. Might not be extensive like the secondary Paulsons from the Rio, but it will still be done.

Thanks! No I'm back home already! Maybe I'll get back in July for the Main or the week after also looks good with a bunch of smaller events. Kind of in wait and see mode at this point.

Maybe I'm the only one that cares about it, but calling that new edge spot a "Small half moon" seems incorrect. That punch out shape is almost certainly a trapezoid or rectangle shape, not a circle, no? To my eye, it looks a lot like the shallow 3/8ths TR King spot.

And @Zmasterben ... Having to track down all the photos, and different variations, and events used in? He may never be the same after this!

I have a conspiracy theory that the WSOP figured out I was "tracking" their chip usage years ago and since then make decisions just to throw me off the scent.

They probably ordered 16 sets and will use them randomly throughout the series. I will predict they are going to use the Primary 5V chips at the Main Event and they will turn around and use high denom live Paris Casino cash chips just to fuck with me.

So many high denom variants. We are on at least #6 of the T100k. Including 3 of the 5V spot pattern
