Well that means we are almost certainly guaranteed a peek at a T5M+. Maybe they even have a T10M, and they wanted to keep font consistency, and that’s why these denoms are so ridiculously small

I assume they ran out of the dark variation in the Housewarming. Still, you ordered 10 million chips apparently... Plan for this.
WSOP always does some weird shit in the big events. I guess after all these years they still can’t accurately predict how many chips they’ll need for the biggest events. They prolly just wanna save money on them though.

The 500 in this set is my favorite chip I have seen so far probably.
Very interesting. I don’t love it. But somebody should.
This one is not ugly, but also not pretty. It’s just okay. But it’s my second favorite.

So far, my favorites are the ones used in the 100,000. They look so much like TRKs.

I get it and I am sure I am in the minority. But I like it because it is bold.
My biggest compliant with most of the chips are that they are bland and safe. Primary colors with dull edgespots and muted color chips like yellows and browns.
Purple with a seafoam greenish edgespot has some character to it.
Though I will admit these are growing on me every day and I am sure I will be in love with the set before the 2023 WSOP comes around (and obligatory pron):

The 500 IS good, but I’m liking that peach/orangish 1000.

My fave wsop silliness moments so far
-the dealer who racked all the chips including high denoms into their tray during the color up
-the dealer who when they were told not to deal 3,5 or 7 (seats) took the 3,5,7s out of the deck to deal a weird short deck variant
-not learning from big 50 fiasco from ‘19, didn’t color up enough t25k in first 3 flights to have enough to support sundays flight
-the inclusion of 100k/150k levels in every tournament instead of doing the painfully obvious 75k/150k
