That's true, definitely gave me more equity that I even realized as he just had the bigger pair. I was guessing two of my clubs were gone at the least. I think even if I had him on the hand he had I would make the call as the pot odds would have been solid, my equity was fine, no implied odds since he jammed but with what was in the pot and what I had behind, I dont think the fold button could have been pressed here.
I think he played it pretty bad considering his bluffy image by not 4-betting pre or as played raised the flop. By overbet jaming the turn he gave you the best chance possible to get away. He was ”lucky” you had an unfoldable worse hand.
I would take a note that he may not be fully aware of how his plays effects his image (unless he takes these lines with bluffs too).
