Nothing special - just a box of 8-5-8’s to celebrate completing a professional engagement. Will need to ship it to our client. JR Cigar will probably work just fine.

If getting Fuente's I'd suggest tampasweethearts - it's owned by the Fuente family.

ya'll are horrible influences. First it was poker chips, now I just ordered a box of those 18 year old Ghurka Cellar Reserve. I was so impressed with one (15 year reserve) I had recently I decided to have a few on hand.

Happy 4th to all you appreciators of the finer things in life.
Cheers!

Saw something the other day on the interwebs that suggested that 90% of the Cubans in the US were fake. Didn’t specify how they got there, etc. Just wondering, what do you-all think of that claim? Would you know a fake HdM Epi2, for example?

Looking to pull the trigger on a new box that isn't going to break the bank — anybody tried these?

If you are not buying from a reputable online vendor, I lean towards fake. If your buddy comes home from Mexico and bought some - fake. If they came in a glass top box - fake. When I travel, I look for the LCDH (la casa de habanos) in the country and buy there.

Yeah, the ones I bought in Dubai and Doha were a touch dry but seemed legit. But, who knows.

If you buy by the box, you can verify the codes on the Habanos website. Doesn't help much for open boxes though.

Can't go wrong with Brick house. Great cigar for the price. I'm a Maduro fan and I'd gladly smoke one of these.
That's that sorted then — cheers! Will probably snag 5 of these, too:

Another cigar I liked that is similar to your already posted smokes is New World by AJ Fernandez. Similar price point and a good stick.
They only have the New World Oscuro Almirante Belicosos — have you tried that particular vitola?

Also, is the AJ Blend 15 any good — or cheaper for a reason?

Haven't tried that one in particular, and have not tried the 15 year.

Sorry, I'm no help here  :ROFLMAO:
