Vendor Sale RACKS* Justin Chip RACKS (3 sizes) *IN STOCK* (15 Viewers)

Awesome idea. Please update us if this gets any traction with Tina. I would think a 68mm width should work for most CPC and older ASM/Burt chips. I have a few old LGK chips that come in at 68.5mm, but those are probably outliers.

Did this shipment arrive, or is it already sold out?

FWIW, my experience with ASM and CPC chips is that most fit well in 67.7mm racks.
My horse head CPCs fit snugly in the Amazon 68mm racks. There is no wiggle room at all, and I wouldnt want smaller racks than 68mm for Horse head CPCs. Standard size racks have a bit of wiggle but only hold 20/row.

Will have to update once Justin's racks arrive.

Yeah, in the measurements I made with a caliper, a barrel that is 67.5mm fits nice and snug...68mm is to wide, sadly.

I agree that we should not try to cut it too close. Who knows how tight the manufacturing tolerances will be. Better to be a touch too big and be able to handle more chips than to be a touch too tight and have some chips still not fit.

I received some spare chips with my CPC order and some of the early profs included are perceptively (not actually measured) wider than the rest of the sets standard size. This barrel ends up ever so slightly taller(again perceptively not actually measured). One particular barrel of hundreds is very snug and would likely crack a smaller sized barreled rack than the 68mm. Each pressing could be slightly different for the standard size (not sure on this) so l agree erring on the side of caution not going too tight until you at least have your set to know for sure. members here seem to rave about Justin's racks so likely they will work great as a long term option. Otherwise I'd just get cheap standard racks that you can replace easy later with much invested. I plan to have all my chips in racks once Justin's order is in and everything out of the cardboard boxes finally.

For me the most important thing is that the racks are consistent with your chips to stack the same amount if chips. Even if they are worn Paulsons fitting 21-22/barrel. I'd like them all to at least match vs some barrels 20 others 21 and 22 and so on.

If have a few different runs of CPCs. I'll measure today.
So here we go. Three different molds. Looks like the CSQ are thicker than the others CPCs I have. Added a minty barrel of white THCs and a paulson rack for comparison. The difference in the barrels between thicker CPC and THC is about 1.7 mm. The tolerance in the Justin racks may be why most CPCs don't fit. There's less than a tenth of a mm to work with. From my stock, looks like a 67.8 would do the trick (CSQ rounders 100 came in at 67.7, last photo). But this would leave the Paulsons with over a mm to wriggle around. Idk if we can hold that tolerance to a tenth for a CPC variant of the justin rack. :)

Many of my CPC rounders barrels were around 67.5 which fit ok, but depending on the color or an errant thicker chip, some barrels went over 68mm...which is far too wide.

I expected differences between molds. I guess keeping the tolerance below 1/40th of a mm per chip isn't going to happen. It's actually not that much. Kudos to the manufacturers for even getting a barrel within a mm of target.

And all this might go out the window if the CPCs have some wear. Mine are barely used.
We're talking tenths of a millimeter here, so if the CPCs have seen some play, thay may be fine. Or not. :ROFLMAO:

I would like 10x 40 mm racks please.

(Hope I'm doing this right!)

Im interested in buying a couple. I’m assuming that I have to buy 2 for top and bottom or does 1 equal a set?
