Those leaked numbers could very well include large numbers of ceramics, especially certain denoms.....

I really don’t understand what denoms you believe to be ceramic? I have looked for pictures of these chips outside of the chipguide and haven’t found anything that would lead me to believe that ceramics are still being used. The only pictures I found were of Paulsons. Maybe the 25¢ and the $20 (if there is one) would be ceramic. But, from everything I’ve seen the $1-5k are going to be Paulsons. I’ve never played there though so maybe you’ve seen ceramics there when you went?

Every time I was there, it was a mix of ceramic and clay $1s (mostly ceramic) and $5s (about 50-50). They used real 25c coins for quarters, even though the dealer rack had 20+ clays and 70+ ceramics.

Okay well that really sucks. But, there still should be a good amount of the THC fracas left assuming that the casino has 25% clay and 75% ceramic. If you and others removed say 400 chips from the casino and the secondary’s were THC only. Then there aren’t going to be a ton of them but it should be enough for the early birds to get some.

Are we talking about Horseshoe southern Indiana?
It’s my home casino, I use to take pictures of some of wins this was all from 2015ish. All ceramics in all of pictures. I can’t report in the last few years I really stopped going and can’t remember.

I’m pretty sure that they phased those out around 2016-2017. I found pictures on 2+2 from a guy who played there and he took them in 2017 and all the chips were clay. From what I was able to see on the chipguide it said that the ceramics were issued in ‘08 when it opened and the Paulsons were issued in ‘16. Here’s a picture from 2017 it shows everything up to the $100 as clay. Although I think @BGinGA is prolly right that most fracs will be ceramic.

Based on the volume of chips in that truck. Looks like it came from a very large casino. Why are you thinking Horseshoe Southern Indiana? I guess we’ll find out soon enough!

Go to page 5 and read posts #139 and #144. That’s should explain why we think it’s the Horseshoe Southern Indiana.

Hey @TheChipRoom, those are nice barrels but I'm gonna have a hard time finding a buyer.

I'll take them off your hands but best I can do is $50.
I don't know what's happening here.

Currently reading Wikipedia page for The Neverending Story. Learning about puppeteeing through the years. The Dark Crystal was an interesting wiki read.

Still in for a barrel.

I wonder how much Jim will charge for U.S. quarters?

Hopefully whatever they are there is enough of the larger denominations us little folks can get our hands on. Being able to get a rack of $1,000 & $5000 denomination chips is mission impossible without spending $1,500 or more rack of chips.

Those high denoms are usually pretty expensive and go quick. Also there are probably rules that they can only account for a certain percentage of your total order. To get a rack of either 1000s or 5000s, you probably have to buy at least a thousand or two thousand total chips.
