Selling WSOP action (2 Viewers)

Does no PCFers know @natumes in Real Life or live near his area to check/call for an update?

Maybe it not a scam but he just dead or had a coma accident etc?
I do just honestly hope he’s okay.

I think he’s just busy or something at the moment, he usually logs in and posts daily. He was ok in July as he was browsing new threads/posts, so it wasn’t just being logged in on a device.

Just taking advantage to use some solid gifs!

(There’s so many amazing lines and exchanges, but no gifs!)

I’m really interested to know how my $1.76 would have performed at the WSOP if it was accepted.

I would have sent my luckiest 21 pennies, 14 nickels, 6 dimes, and quarter!

It’s nothing big, pinging as I remember.

Just a transaction from a couple months ago, it’s only like $1200.

This is a shame. Hope you get what’s owed. I might try making a separate thread to see if anyone knows natumes, since this one might not get the right eyeballs.

I will, I don’t doubt that.

I did ping the one game/host I know he’s played at, they hadn’t heard from him recently. That and an infrequent post here is about the length of my effort  :ROFLMAO:

Just rumors and misinformation from the internet.
Ah. Well first and foremost want to make sure he's okay, $1200 ain't life and death.

I don't know what information is out there, I just know the below:
He purchased some IGs/Paris/Tachis
I got his Address on May 3rd
Shipped out May 10th
Confirmed shipping was received via tracking (attached)

Pinged for payment June 8th, 11th, 21st, and July 12th
And then was worried more about safety as he was posting multiple times every day but then was gone.
He logged back in twice and browsed for a touch, last day being July 12th. It wasn't old devices just being logged in, as the account was viewing new threads that weren't live prior to his departure/last login date.
Updated his FB August 15th.

If he's safe cool. If you can reach him personally, tell him no biggy on the $ if it's an issue and we can just push it out to like 2025 no problem.

Not sure what the reference is to rumors and such, but hopefully this clears any air or potential misgivings on the transaction.

Yeah, I hope he’s ok.

I think the only thing I find strange on PCF these days is how no one has a way to contact known members  :ROFLMAO:

If y'all need me these days, not too hard to find someone with my number. That being said, that wasn't true back in the day for me.

But Nate's pretty well known, 4 years, has attended multiple meetups or home games I believe. Seems like someone from those games would have his information and could extend a message to 1) make sure he's safe and 2) if so let him know it's all good to jump back in here and resume like normal. I'm guessing he could even request this thread be nuked so there's not this history published.

Not that you will see this, but maybe he has you on ignore. Maybe on purpose, maybe accidentally. I know a lot of people get put in ignore here because of the “tone” of their responses, like people that have never met others can detect “tone” on the internet. Some people are special like that though, can read others “tone” through electrons.

Oh no doubt for sure, it's a great point. The folks that seem to know him personally though or were at games he attended have (they've replied here directly or I've pm'ed them).

Time for a little break anywhoo, I'll catch up with him later when he's back to chipping. He's gotta return cause he has a custom CPC set that I don't have a sample of yet! (I think)

Let me see if I can rustle him up for you. I’ll get right on that.

So what you’re saying is that you confirmed with him that he wanted to buy your chips for $1200? Then you shipped them without receiving payment?!

There must be some sort of misunderstanding.

I can provide further insight if this needs to be covered publicly for some reason I suppose.

I always ship prior to payment, that's been my standard for a couple of years. Allows folks, if they'd like, to get the chips and make sure it's all matching description and such prior to payment. I also tend to sell en masse/bulk, so if there are pricing decreases as the chips continue to sell (or don't), then I go back and make sure that everyone pays the same lowest price. I figure it's fair, and helps people to dibs initially without worrying that maybe they're paying above market if future racks get discounted. Perhaps in the future I could take payment and then do a refund.

While I would never ever publicly share PMs *from* someone, these are only mine in that discussion, which matches my above description of outreach for payment, pings, as well as me not caring about the $ aspect and providing him the lowest amount as several of those racks were discounted later in the sale(s) and I felt he should pay the lowest possible price.

He dibsed them, confirmed his address, I sent the chips, and then sent him the amount - which was lower than what he purchased for - and asked for confirmation/doublecheck.

My bad for anything out of the ordinary, seemed like a good way to handle stuff previously.

Seems odd. The Barrie method I guess. Interesting layers and hard to follow.

So before you shipped, did you confirm that he still wanted them?

I'm not sure what's difficult to follow.

It looks like I should have confirmed he still wanted these before shipping is what you're saying - sounds great, 100% agreed, I'll add that to the process that's my bad. I did not confirm with him that he still wanted before shipping.

That is entirely my fault.
