I'm still thinking the Liquid TSP from Lowes should work. I've cleaned many K's using this stuff.

Some were declared Non-Cleanable and had to soak for awhile 3/4 strength, which had no ill effects on the chips , except cleaning them.

How long did you soak them?

I have experience with resins and grease on chips that were hard to get out completely with conventional cleaners. I obv don’t know what this stuff is, however, the stuff I use penetrates the resin or “goo” and penetrates into the substrate(chip) but doesn’t ruin the laminate, ink or material of the chip(that I am sure of). Give it time to lift out, rub down with micro cloth. After it’s lifted, in your sink, run a slighty hot 10x dawn(yes the dish detergent cascade, not soap)bath, put chips in, light some candles, turn off the lights and play some sexy music, 20 mins later scrub LIGHTLY in circular motion rotating left to right, rinse and dry. Most colors become pale after wash whether you use soap or whatever cleaner but natural oil from the hands will darken it over time from playing with them or if you’re fuzzy, use bit of mineral oil but I don’t because you see those black gunk dots that build up over time like used casino chips? That’s oil, dust, cheetos, dead skin, boogers and whatever sticking to it but putting oil on it allows it more so to collect. Will it smell wd-40ish after? Maybe slighty but have you smelt a factory Paulson chip? machine grease smell.

try it, doesn’t hurt.

My hydrogen peroxide attempt did nothing to the test chips (Lago $1 & Cleveland $5). I’m thinking the peroxide is not powerful enough to penetrate the chip.

I've gotten my hands on a few of these chips and they are, by far, a bitch to clean compared to any other chip I've tried.

I try to very long soak and dawn plus a magic eraser. I also tried liquid TSP soak and ultrasonic.

Long story short is that the only thing that seems to get this color off is something abrasive to remove it physically. And even then, the color is left inside the hats and canes.

It's such a shame because these chips are gorgeous. They are amazing snappers but they make even more amazing re-labels.

If you got the time, the arm strength, the magic erasers, and the straightening jigs, I'm pretty sure that you can turn out a really solid chip here. But it's going to take time...

If anybody can peel off 80 for me, that would be very much appreciated.
