Are you willing to wait for border reopening? If anyone in Canada is picking some up, I'd take a couple barrels, pay for rhr re-ship, and flip ya a few dollars to offset your shipping cost from TCR.

I am sure there are more experienced flatters here that can chime in, but my guess is that the really warped chips will always stay a little warped. most of the chips, however, will get much flatter. I have turned some really wobbly barrels into sturdy stacks. Some chips require 2 or 3 runs though.@Goldfish You reckon your method would do the trick on this barrel?
Also, @mattross1313 — you going to be trying for any of these? If so, might be worth us sharing shipping?

Wow! They clean up nice if you put the effort into it!I am skeptical that these chips have the same problem. It may just be some of the residue/powder from these got onto some other chips. It does spread like crazy if you aren't aware of it.
Some chip boxes under black light (the film really shows up under black light) covered before I realized it was spreading.

I'm all set on pink chips dude. Happy hunting@Goldfish You reckon your method would do the trick on this barrel?

Agreed, some chips require multiple cycles of flattening. Only time will tell if they remain COMPLETELY flat, but I’m sure they won’t return to anywhere NEAR the warping they are now.I am sure there are more experienced flatters here that can chime in, but my guess is that the really warped chips will always stay a little warped. most of the chips, however, will get much flatter. I was wondering the same thing. I think large labels that are unlaminated will fit over the inlay just fine. If you want large labels that are laminated, you will have to remove the small inlay AND mill the chip.Any thoughts on how murder/inlay replacement will work with these given the small original inlay? Is it possible to replace with an inlay that will fill the full recessed area?
The chips above you have referenced are Paulson Pink (at least the Buyin chips are). I believe this issue is specific to Light Pink.I have pink empress roulette chips that I purchased directly from jim probably close to 10 years ago. They were cleaned with oxi clean and sat in my basement. They don't seem to have any yellowing at all. I also have brand new ones that were not cleaned or oiled, also no yellowing. Same for my rack of 36mm chips, no yellowing. Perhaps its the environment where these new snappers were stored ?

@jazzV3 is right! No one should be any of these chips on Sunday. I know I won't.The fluorescent "spreading powder" is what is making me think. That pic with the fluorescent yellow hands and substance all over the boxes and the things you touched... yikes. I'm guessing wearing gloves while you clean and tossing the boxes would be in order here?
Imagine what the poker table would look like if you shined a black light on it.
Would your "member" shine yellow under black light??
The warping can be fixed but I'm more worried about the stuff that is on them.
At first I was afraid it could be something like mold/mildew...and wouldn't want any in the proximity of my chip sets (or house for that matter).
After seeing the Stardust chip, color sample & other chips, it's obv. color based and also a bit scary...
Could this be a post lead production issue with light pink ?
It's not limited to RHC...
The PCA 50c chips are way older and have no issues ever reported...nor any other older chips.
And I'll assume those roulettes are leaded clay, so whichever shade of pink they are, it's a different formula than these HSIsThe chips above you have referenced are Paulson Pink (at least the Buyin chips are). I believe this issue is specific to Light Pink.
Not sure what you mean? That barrel is the before with the yellow film. The last pic is the final output.@grantc54 is that water staining on the edges of the chips? Does that come off? Thx
It likely would work, I havent gotten one to try yet.@grantc54 . any luck using those hand sonic cleaners a few people have been buying lately?
Someone get one to this man immediately. The future of chip cleaning science is dependant on it!It likely would work, I havent gotten one to try yet.
Is that dish soap in the containers?
