I too have several Lamsons... both forged and stamped... I have a small Lamson stamped steel paring knife that is absolutely scary sharp. How sharp?

Tossed?I’ve been using Wusthof all stainless steak knives for over one year. I needed many (16) and the cost was reasonable. I also wanted knives that were dishwasher safe. I was initially concerned that they’d scratch but they have not after many uses. Also, I tossed the wooden box (that comes with some sets), they go in the silverware drawer, no special treatment.
Note: Apparently some are made in Germany and some in China. I don’t believe there is any difference in quality. You can search eBay for various sets of four or eight and occasionally make out the “made in…” sticker. If you’re buying more than one pack of knives, not that there are at least three slight shape variations.
