My wife has been in England for 10 days seeing family. She got back this morning, just in time for the baby to start kicking hard enough for her to properly feel it for the first time.

It was pretty amazing to feel it myself.

Picked up a couple of these Stanley tool and craft kits on clearance at Sam’s Club for $8 each. The come with some real tools, the belt and googles along with two kits. My girls love building this stuff!

I try not to help them until the ask for it. Using a regular screwdriver is a lot of work.

It’s just water based paint. And the felt is just speed cloth not an expensive custom cloth. Worst case it costs me $50 to replace the cloth again.

It seems just yesterday I was watching my 11month old take his first steps...it was amazing...

He's nearly 4 now. Time just flies...he's already into chipping...

Mine is definitely a future chipper. He was putting my freshly cleaned chips into his mouth as soon as he got close to them

Good thing they were RHC mold. Though I understand the appeal of the leaded THC mold chips, I like that the newer chips aren't leaded for the sake of my little guy. Think I will be holding off on getting any leaded chips until kids are older and know not to put chips in the mouth.

Went to the Hawkeye game yesterday. The wave at the end of the first quarter is already the best tradition in college football, IMO.

Bittersweet for sure, and I cry every time. It's such a beautiful gesture, and seeing the kids and their families waving back is inspiring and sobering.
