Watching any of my boys play anything
Watching my wife play tennis
Walking the dog early enough so that we are out there as the sun is coming up
My beer league team
A perfectly struck 8 iron
Getting to the point where my parents are more friends than parents
Watching my parents with my boys
When I fill my tourney seats with people who love to play and love to laugh
Ice cold beer after a hockey game
Being "The Breakfast Guy" on weekends
Shuffling cards and chips and pitching cards
I could keep going....

Ace (sophomore) and Deuce (freshman) both got invites to skate with the fall hockey team. Nothing is in stone, but this gives them the inside track to making the varsity HS team in October/November.
Proud to see them progress, sad my days of coaching them are behind me.

It's still early for Deuce, who's only a freshman. Ace is finding sophomore year (and hockey, and a girlfriend) more challenging, but his GPA is still impressive.
