But there is an entire chapter of this book dedicated to Colares Brazil, where lasers are described as weapons against civilians.
It’s an intense story and it does involve ‘non-human intelligence.’
This is a serious subject and it’s clear in this book that some of these ‘aliens’ are willing to hurt and at least inadvertently kill humans.

Finally got around to watching The Phenomenon. Damn that is a crazy documentary. I definitely recommend it if you haven't seen it yet. Not sure how to watch this and still be skeptical.

The whistleblowers are still trying to get permission to take the who/what/why public, but until then we are forced to accept it’s AI made by someone somewhere. There are rumors that something manufactures them on earth, twisting the ‘not of this earth’ argument. But even if that’s the case, that ‘something’ was built by someone somewhere. Every mouth-breather seems to think that his/her home is being watched by drones at night, like the New Jerseyans. As if there were anything worth seeing here.
Some think it is aliens, others a domestic gummint operation to steal their Libertah, others blame the Chinese / Russians / whoever their preferred bogeyman of the moment is.
Every photo I’ve seen posted looks like a plane with standard FAA-required lights. But there is no shaking them from their convictions. And if you deny their theories, you must be in on it.

I saw them first hand in the sky last night.
They're definitely drones and don't move like standard aircraft. That said, if these drones were a threat in any way, they would've been shot down already without any fanfare or media attention.
Being military tech that's being tested is the most logical and likely scenario here.
