What's the Most Money You Ever Won in a Single Night? (1 Viewer)

I have two tourney's a few years back that I cashed for just over 1k. One was our league championship. $100.00 buy in, plus the rakes from the season. 9 players.

A few months later @WedgeRock talked me into playing a charity tourney. $30.00 buy in, NLHE/PLO r x r. 110 players. I chopped first and second for just over 1k.

As for cash games we normally play .25/.50. I have had several cashes in the 500+ range and two cashes in the +650 range.

Mostly my winnings go back into my poker bank roll. I use it for either chips, cards, and poker monies. Occasionally I'll take the wife/son out for dinner if I have a good night.

Is it bad that my biggest ever win was at bingo lol.

13 years ago, whilst at university a friend and I went with his parents. It was my first ever time and we split the 18 gbp entry. The final game of the night that linked up nationally with the other bingo halls, we hit bingo and split 2500 gbp. So about $1600 usd. As an 18 year old with no job that was amazing.

Most I’ve won at poker in a night was $1250aud.

A win is a win!

The title of the thread is "the most you won in a single night". Bingo counts imo!!

One of the weekday tournaments in February of 2018 had filled up earlier than expected. I put my name at the top of the wait list and sat down to play cash. ($1/$3) I had won $210 when a seat became available. This was late in the re-buy period and I had to decide if I wanted to give up my seat at what was a fairly easy table. I decided that I had come to play in the tournament and if I failed to cash I would still be up $100. I am dealt pocket Jacks the very last hand of the re-buy period (literally) and get three way action including one all-in. My jacks held up giving me an average size chip stack going into the break.

Ended up as short stack down to the final eight. The tournament paid out top six. Don't remember the particulars. I was focused on trying to make the money. Started to chip up and never dipped back down. Memorable moment early in heads up play. (Third hand iirc) I called villain down with A/K Off-suit on a 10-4-2 flop, a 4 on the turn and a blank on the river, putting over half (55%) of my stack at risk. He had me out chipped 2.5 to 1 going into the hand. That is when I knew I had him.

Took first place for $1410. Cashed out for a profit of $1460 in less than six hours after leaving a $50 tip for the dealers.

The craziest run up I have ever witnessed happened at a $1/$3 table. A player ran up his $200 buy-in to $3500. He called a pre-flop raise from a lady who had pocket Aces with 8/3 off-suit. He flopped two pairs and turned a full house with an eight on the turn. She went all in on the river. He was lucky and good. A deadly combination. Fun to watch. All of my wins pale in comparison.

I satellited into Full Tilts Saturday night $27 back in college, FT'd it ~2k (5th or 6th place) I think. Thought because I was good at tournaments I could beat .10/.25 cash and proceeded to dump around ~800 in a week.

Biggest live cash was ~980 when I got heads up in a $100 casino tournament. Proceed to drink a fifth of jager in about an hour and passed out in the woods behind the cabin I was staying in. :ROFLMAO:

Little more than 3K on pokerstars forever ago. It was a $10 buy in and a few thousand players and I placed first. Definitely got a little lucky at the final table. Literally took all night and it was the night before I closed on my first house so the money came in handy.

$200 the first time I ever played NLHE.

I used it to buy my first set of denominated chips.

Eric never again insisted on “winner take all”. Eric’s dice chips never saw the felt (well, tablecloth) again.

200NL at a local casino: bought in $200. Cashed $2200.

$500 buy in tourney: took 1st for $30700. Tipped the dealers $700 and walked out with 3 bundles of $100s. There were ~160 runners. What did I buy? Several kilos of high grade weed and thus began my rise as the local weed baron! :wow:

In reality, I paid off some debts and banked the rest after splurging on some custom BCCs.

In one amazing 12hr stint playing 1/3NL at a local casino, I ran a $300 buy in up to nearly $1800.

I felt great. Amazing. Decided to play 2/5NL and got myself into real deep water and within 30mins I lost all my money.

It was the most I've made and lost all in one session. I've never really played the casino again after this. Lots of homepokers, but pretty casino shy. It is a rare chance I have gone.

Casino just isn't for a person like me. I'm lucky enough, but I don't know when to stop.

I generally play low stakes poker. I played in a NLHE/PLO r x r tourney at a charity hall. In for 30, out for 1050 after chopping first and second place.

4/8 limit Holdem/Omaha* - in for $200, out for $1200
2/4 limit Holdem/Omaha* - in for $100, out for $800

* - button choice, Omaha high or high/low

Best ever cash session was a thermonuclear hot $2/$5 run in the Aria where I went in at 5:00 A.M. and played for five hours until my wife texted me that she was awake. Ran $300 into $4500-ish. When my wife texted me she asked how I was doing, I responded with a pic of my stack. Her response was, “get up. You’re done.”

For tournament I had a nice hit last summer on Ignition in a MTT

I had 33, he had A9... AA3 flop, A turn, 3 river. Capped on the flop, 4 bet on the turn, was upset that I got counterfeited and reluctantly called to see the river, 8 bets on the river before we both started celebrating!!! :)
