fantastic question. Why do you $5-crazed people bother with efficiency when it comes to # of fracs or tournament sets? Isn’t ”moar” chips just as cool then?
NOWhy do you $5-crazed people bother with efficiency when it comes to # of fracs or tournament sets? Isn’t ”moar” chips just as cool then?
Except almost no one runs limit nights. If you do then whatever breakdown works best for you is the way. For me.....MOAR $5'SI prefer to have a larger amount of $1 chips vs. $5 chips. They are more useful if you want to run $2/$4 or $3/$6 limit nights. And a casual observation is there is less making change when you have an ample amount of $1 chips on the table.
Most red chips look like shit, use Yellow, they do look good!Is it just that red chips look good?
and meSays you.

Needs more $5sSuppose it depends on how many players you have and how much of an idiot you are…

I am a full-fledged member of the "moar fracs" club. Why do you $5-crazed people bother with efficiency when it comes to # of fracs or tournament sets? Isn’t ”moar” chips just as cool then?
Prove me wrong children. Prove me wrong.
MOAR chips is always cool- like horsepower, number of Rolexes (I have 0).Why do you $5-crazed people bother with efficiency when it comes to # of fracs or tournament sets? Isn’t ”moar” chips just as cool then?
I am a chipper after all so a simple ”fuck off, I like fives”, is a perfectly understandable and acceptable answer .The whole “efficiency” thing seems misplaced in this context. Are all you efficiency nuts trying to run fun home games, or a dry cleaning business?
Lol, in my experience thats not the culprit, there are far worse game slowersWhen there is constant change making it slows the game up.
You’ll just never convince me that there are any logical reasons as to why one has to have piles of them to run a game.
But it's fun to be difficult about it.I am a chipper after all so a simple ”fuck off, I like fives”, is a perfectly understandable and acceptable answer .

Nopeyou can absolutely get away with 300 $5 chips for 1/2.
$1 - 100
$5 - 300
$25 - 80
$100 - 20
Yep... We played $1/2 (and even $1/3) for years with 300 reds.Nope
I also go heavy on the T1k and T5k in my tourney sets bc YES…MOAR!Why do you $5-crazed people bother with efficiency when it comes to # of fracs or tournament sets? Isn’t ”moar” chips just as cool then?
what was the buy-in? $100? if so, that works. I would assume most $1/$2 games would have a $300 buy-in . 8-9 players would need almost all $5's right in the beginning. not enough $25/$100 for rebuys thenYep... We played $1/2 (and even $1/3) for years with 300 reds.
Oh man, these are fire!!! But... 2 racks only?!
