Does anyone have any frac ideas for the Sheraton Roulettes?

Was thinking these would be a good candidate for a cheap Paulson relable set.

$190 for 1000 chips, then you are on you way for a cheap lable over custom set that has been well loved. And you get to choose the colors you want!

If you are quick on the draw. Not sure how many there are.

Never had and roulette chips. What size are these sheraton’s? 36, 39? Txs

On the first day of school it's important to remind your kids....

Probably gonna be driving home from work when the sale starts so please try to save me some guys :banghead:

Might be a dumb question but are the roulettes standard size chips? They're just a regular 39mm not thinner or anything? Also is there any estimate on quantities? I'd love to pick up some of each but something tells me there won't be enough to go around.

Roulettes are standard size chips. They are generally manufactured to the same dimensions as regular poker chips.

However, they wear a bit differently with use. Poker chips get lots of flea bites. Roulette chips generally don't. But because of constant restacking their height may wear down a little bit faster than normal. You can see it in the part of the mold especially with RHC that the surrounding chip can wear down to the level of the normally recessed hat and cane.

Roulette chips also tend to have rounded edges also, right?

Good call! Makes sense

Thank you so much. I thought it was weird that they looked thinner but that makes sense.

Yeah, I have a few racks of very used roulettes, and they do seem to wear in the manner described above, the chips seem “more sqaure and less bike tire” but the stacks are a bit shorter than their poker brothers, less round though.

I've often wondered if roulette chips get replaced any more often than value chips. I know that for roulette, the hand feel of a stack of 20 is very important, because dealers never have time to count chips, so they rely on their tactile senses to stack and pay out properly. I would guess even a half chip height wear in a barrel would be enough to screw up with counting accuracy.

I heard a dealer and pit boss complaining that their new yellow chip stacks"looked" shorter than the others. I don't know how that works, but apparently the pit bosses kept questioning weather or not the dealers were shorting players from the way the barrels appeared from a distance.

Roulette's sold out seconds after 5pm. Incredible.
