Honestly that would be ok with me versus shuttering their doors forever....

FYP, perfectly timed for tax refunds or bonus payouts after cleaning out the last years batch of orders.

If Tina was going out of business I’m not sure you’d see the buzz and the planned orders coming in like you see now for CPC.
Actually, I think it would have a similar "get some before they're gone" response. Perhaps not from the same people as CPC fans, but I suspect the volume of orders would be larger.

8 billion people in the world, and the PCF consensus is always the same: we're the only people willing to spend money on premium poker chips?! :ROFLMAO:

Digital advertising is cheaper and more accessible than ever. With the right positioning and proposition, advertise your product as a premium one. Then, with any luck, the same people who pay (and wait) for premium watches and cars, might well do the same thing with poker chips for the high-end home / underground game.

Because the only people who see the long waiting time as a negative? Yep, us hardcore enthusiasts.

Just a thought, anyway.

A $2,000-$4,000 social media ad would do wonders. Especially now that I realized CPC has emails.

He could build a Facebook ad that would serve impressions to people that are on his email database and their friends. Guaranteed full of poker players. A list like that is invaluable.

The beauty of CPC has always been the ability to create something uniquely yours. I’m going to keep my personal customs personal.
I applaud your civil response.

im not so sure. Since every poker chip manufacturer markets their chips as clay, I think you’d have some work to do to educate the public as to why your product actually is premium.

You would be targeting repeat customers and the friends of those customers (in addition…those friends have most likely felted those chips.)

Literally no education needed.

Every Facebook user is identified by the user email that CPC has on file. Your targeted list would be them + their FB friends. That’s an invaluable list. And very easy to build within the Facebook campaign manager by yourself or any Ad Agency you can do it for a few hundred dollars. Then pick your budget/spend. A few thousand dollars goes a long way on social media advertising.

This also works for instagram. Same campaign ad manager.

In addition, if anyone is looking, I would have email newsletters monthly with some of the best custom chip sets, with owners permission of course.

I would have monthly emails talking about the molds.

And certainly a dedicated email talking about the recent release of EWING mold.

I have to imagine there’s a customer base that buys from CPC and doesn’t log into PCF.

Rounders and the KGB/Chesterfield's chips being front and center in all advertising is an absolute layup. Pics from the movies, classic Teddy gifs, etc. You can even link the Adam Savage video of him slam-dunking one of them into a rack like he's fcking Shaq. Don't have to even mention "Official Casino Weight TM".

It's probably too late now, but damn has it been such an obvious play the whole time. Hopefully I'm wrong.

I’d be turning out rounders ads with those chips until the 6th cease and desist letter lol.

It‘s the ‚cheap crap‘ era now.
Hard to get people pay 5-10x more the costs for the ‚same‘ thing.
Only a few chip maniacs really care about clay nowdays.
Why there are not so many clay chip companies/vendors out there?
To deliver a private market in 600pc units?

Just throwing this out there - if anyone here buys CPC and wants help - I’m versed in social media targeted advertising and can also offer video and photography services for ads.
Bro, they better be hiring you to build out pre-made banger chip sets lol

You should have a bio on their page for custom consultation.

While we continue to bullshit, promo codes for repeat customers. 5% off to add on sets with existing inlays only. This would be an automated email 6 months after they had their chips delivered.

Referral bonuses. Refer a CPC order get a promo code.

Get enough of your home players into CPC, may yield enough customer points to earn urself a free rack or something.

I never considered buying a CPC set. But would place an order if @JeepologyOffroad designs one. Just sayin’ ;)
I consider myself pretty artistic and creative, but I would not build a CPC set because I’m too indecisive and don’t have experience with the colors. I don’t want to make a $6000 mistake I regret. I do that enough when I see the chips already produced.

A CPC set costs $6K?!? I'm not really familiar with their pricing, but I would hope to pay considerably less than that for a 1K set...am I way off base here?

My tournament set that I posted a mock up for the other day is going to come in right around that.

Edge spot choice plays a big role in price, but $6000 seems high for a 1000 chip set

My last CPC order was a shade over $5000 for just over 1300 chips which included a large chunk of level 5 chips (and they were mostly DG base colours and had shaped inlays to boot).

It would be wonderful if CPC could consider exploring chip colors that are more reminiscent of Paulson's offerings. Brighter yellows, reds, pinks, oranges, and greens etx would really enhance the overall appeal imo. Additionally, I feel that a redesign of the ink could bring a new fresh line of customers, including me.

Maybe crack open a glow stick and throw it in there?

I would have 1200 chips plus shaped inlays, but I’m guessing tbh.
