Classic poker chips is selling their company?? (1 Viewer)

CPC customs never resell so I’m not sure this is the flex you think it is lol.

Again I feel like I’m flexing too much hate.

CPC shaped textured inlays are gonna be missed…
Ok so what? Not a flex, just the truth. Funny when truth becomes a “flex”.

I’ve got at least three CPC sets that were others customs. @AK Chip does some great designs! @Toby black cat set is one of my groups favorites. Even have a h-mold tournament set that someone else designed and it’s my personal favorite chip set of all.

Search the classifieds and you will see that you are dead wrong in CPC resell. So your post isn’t quite the “flex” you thought it might be.

CPC resells sit and sit and discount and discount. Like 90% of customs or semi customs, I don’t care the manufacture. Make dumb comments get dumb responses.
Do your homework before you post stupid shit. But that’s too hard for you instant gratifiers.

Go to the classifieds.
Search CPC - titles only
Peruse the results and see them sell.

Sure, there are some out there for sale, but the majority of what you will see are wanted ads for CPC and sold sets of CPC.

The ones I feel bad for are the ones that bought complete CPC color samples.

I’d rather not shit on people’s customs sets sitting, like you shit on everyone.

lol wrong much and try to cover it up? Thanks for the non value add to this thread.
I just searched and all I can find are CPC sets for sale that didn’t sell or sold for almost half of what they paid lol

If Tina was going out of business I’m not sure you’d see the buzz and the planned orders coming in like you see now for CPC.
Changing the field goal posts? I like it!

1. We discussed why CPC sales are suffering - and why a few prefer Tina simply for low costs and convenience - not bc it’s a superior chip.

2. You mentioned Tina chips resell value is awful. No one mention resale value in this entire thread. But losing 50% on 50 cents a chip is nowhere near as bad as “what I’ve seen” losing 50% on a $5/chip. A majority of customs don’t hold their value. And I don’t think resell value has merit in this conversation but hey let’s chip and talk.

3. Now your mentioning why people are buying up a great product as it’s closing - no disagreement there - makes total sense - but that’s moving the field goal posts.

You are the one bashing CPC. I was just pointing out that their product moves, new or used. But you have “feelings” and “hunches” otherwise, and feel the need to trash their product.

I’m trying not to bash their product. Just the sales process (understandably is what it is). Their product is excellent. My intent was not to bash the chips tbh.

Don't think @doublebooyah85 is trashing CPC at all. The reality is that the market for custom chips is small. Tina chips are just a very good product for price and value, especially with regards to new chippers. CPC requires a lot of dedication, hard work and upfront costs. That's the reality and while I'm super sad about them closing down, it doesn't surprise me in the slightest knowing that the profit margin and turnover for CPC must be low.

A company is closing down. We are discussing why. If the company was doing phenomenal there would be more praise lol
The only people trashing them (or their process or their salespeople) are people that don’t own CPC and have stated they never will. Sure they aren’t for everyone, but neither are Paulsons. Or Tina’s.

I think the people that like CPC are busy right now with a different priority. And they probably don’t feel the need to try to convert anyone that doesn’t want to be converted anyway.

You are the only Tina defender here, btw. Where are all the other minions?

No your original post was to knock their resell value. Of course you deleted that, and now you are backpedaling out your ass.
These are for sale? I just picked a CPC set I knew that had shaped inlays.

You’re exhausting lol

Man, at this back pedal rate you will be into yesterday pretty soon

Just want to say that you voluntarily came into this, no one summoned you.

How I feel after anytime I get in a discussion with @ekricket

Sigh, sometimes you have to. How far off topic do you want to lead this? You think it will distract anyone from your original comments?
What was so egregious lol

The beauty of CPC has always been the ability to create something uniquely yours. I’m going to keep my personal customs personal.
This.

I am fortunate enough to have three CPC sets. I will keep and cherish them always.

I would buy CPCs on @AK Chip designs ! He's commissioned some very excellent sets from CPC over the years.

Something. You tell us. We can’t read it anymore.
Oh my bad now I follow… the thread I wrote - retracted - ?

You quote replied in time and caught it.

It wasn’t anything damning. I just tried to prevent this back and forth I knew that would ensue.

I also think I edited out “get dumb responses” bc that doesn’t make sense. That would equate to my response being dumb lol But it was in jest when you shit on a new member asking about vegas group buys the other day and you said ask dumb questions it gave you the green light to be a dick lol

You failed miserably. On all accounts. You can’t defend your position because it’s not right, and you are just throwing stuff out now hoping this will go away.

But it’s entertainment now!

And what is my position?
