Classic Poker Chips - Last Call Mockups (7 Viewers)

i always wanted to make these as a simple 18xx set (most people here won't understand what that means or why these colors/spot patterns matter), but i pretty much stopped playing, and was never able to come up with 2 more designs that made sense to fill out the set. ce la vie.

Ooo I love this one. Very mellow with all spots being variations of the base color. Any reason you chose not to do that for the $1?
Thank you.
Not really but it is difficult to have white variation. I wanted a white €1 so I made a compromise.

And it is also a break between semi solid and proper spots. Cool you noticed this effect I wanted to stay in this vintage mood.

I actually placed my order for add-ons for my Arizona Club set a bit before the news of the sale hit. These are intended to tidy up some potential dirty stack issues with the original set (I was too fresh into the custom chip game to consider how all the chips play with and against each other and only worried about the chips one value on either side when I made the originals). These also have secondary quarters for the set as I would have preferred a color like DG Peacock for the spots when I had it made, but that was many, many years away at the time.

I had a message from David a couple days ago saying hourglass was about ready to go in production and that he needed art "soon". Thankfully I have all my original art files on a backup hard drive and this particular design has enough of a formula to how it's laid out, it was relatively easy to produce these. I just needed a few test prints on the good printer at the office and was able to ship these off last night.

Love the hundo!

I put my first order in just a few weeks ago. Looks like I need to work on the tournament set much quicker than anticipated. This was actually my first idea I ever had, I think from the CT days. Since poker started in the US around New Orleans, I came up with a New Orleans themed set - Crescent City Casino. I haven't put much work into over the past ten years. Obvioulely, FDL mold.

Just using images from the internet. Plan on hiring the artwork out.

Green: St. Charles Streetcar - oldest running streetcar line in the world. Potentially alligator for green, but I think I like the idea of the streetcar better.

Black: Voodoo, I think specifically Baron Samedi.

Purple: Mardi Gras, thinking the masks maybe with beads.

Yellow: Jazz related

White: Riverboat and having the spots resemble the paddle wheel - red 6d14 or 8d14.

Red (not sure if T5 or T25000. Maybe even bounty or something else. I don't think a sixth denom would be necessary). Thinking crawfish to represent creole food.

I can't even believe I am putting this out there....but I have always toyed with adding a $2 chip for limit games to my existing CPC cash set. It would have to be France as the next highest percentage of heritage of my kids. Based on spot progression...and not repeating...and keeping the flag theme...I think I would have to do this. I don't think I can pay for tri moons. But I think it's "correct". Ugh. Kill me. But it's probably one of these two. FML.

Why can't you go 3916? It's superior to 312 and tri-moon IMO

Mocked up, created with Johnny5 and submitted. Currently raising funds. The inlays are not the final product but one of the initial mockups.

Eventually I wanted to purchase a cash, tournament, and limit set. Unfortunately I won’t have the funds for all of them in the next 5 months. To that end, I will be ordering a limit set. No inlay. Perhaps a future hot stamp project.

1000 of the arc yellow and 400 of the blurple.

I agree CPC doesn’t have the best selection of yellows. However, I think canary is actually a really beautiful color and has a lot of capability to be implemented well into sets.

Just curious cause that's an odd ratio for limit, why 1000 & 400?
