Controversial Chip & Poker Opinions (81 Viewers)

Since Walmart is worth billions, it’s perfectly fine to shoplift there. Love the logic. Not one bit surprised.
Is it okay to steal from drug dealers? Is it okay to steal from citizens? Is it okay for the state to steal?

If you are a moral absolutist looking at it as black and white then no you can't steal from Walmart.

Plenty of moral arguments that would say stealing from an entity that has already stolen land, time, and wages is moral. Walmart as an entity has already been shown to steal money from both individuals and communities.

If this is just one of those "but the ruleeeees" then it doesn't matter what anyone says.

I am doing quite well and I don't need to shoplift nor would I. That being said if I see someone shoplift, well I didn't.

Lol ah, didn't know he had replied! You gotta ignore him, its not worth it.

Seen Les Mis? Boring Javert character.

Its freeing, I know he's mad and this just allows him to stew and shout.

Him whenever anyone posts about caring about others, trusting science, peeing standing up:

Lol.

Hey man sometimes it's just easier to pee sitting down. Also if you've ever worked apartment maintenance the bathroom of single dudes is just gross. So much splash out

Does Aria make less money because their chip design is made into a tribute card mold in your opinion?
Good question. I’m guessing it has minimal impact on them. I was just a tad bewildered by the argument against “the big guy.” At what point does it become okay to steal from one, but not another?

I have very mixed feelings about the cards mold chips. I actually own a couple sets, and, for the money, I really don’t think they can be topped. I’m really struggling not buying one of the Bellagio tributes, because whoever did that batch was beyond spot on.

Again, I just thought the argument was absurd that it’s somehow okay to take from the big, bad casinos. Are casinos in business to get rich? Yes. Does anyone that steps foot inside not know that? I sure hope not, or we are closer to idiocracy than I thought.

…chopping a tournament is cool, even if it’s like 8-ways

Everything is a grey area. We are all humans. I believe every business should be able to make its money, but I also dislike the biggest corps that make so much money off of people yet don't give enough to their employees. I would never walk into a store and steal, but I would have zero sympathy for them if someone else does.

Stories associated with chip sets are full of shit sometimes.

Sorry, but sometimes when I read a five paragraph explanation of why someone's childhood next door neighbor's dog who looked at them that one time became an unforgettable moment that only a relabeled chip set can pay tribute too I kind of zone out and wonder if there ever was a dog at all.

Yup. We’re all wired differently and that’s fine. I just can’t relate to any of that stuff. I don’t need my chips to mean anything.

Hey, NAGB people—

Stop making fancy fracs with 3 or 4 colors and complex edge spots. A frac should be simple, preferably a hotstamped solid.

Thank you.
Simple frac patterns? Hot stamps ugly? Yes, this is what I come to this thread for! Let the game begin!
I have always wondered if the gatekeepers have thought it's odd for a casino to want so many quarters in 2023, considering how few of quarters are actually on a casino floor.

If you don't like the complex quarter edge spot, you can always sell them and relabel a more simple chip to your liking.

I think a better question is, how many casinos has anyone been to that utilize a Paulson poker chip dealer button? I have never seen one. If that did not set off any alarms I’m not sure anything would and/or there is no gatekeeper anyway. You just have to know the right “guy”. Heck, he may even be a member on here and these NAGBs are just a little side hustle to make a lot of extra $$ from time to time. To me that is way more plausible than gematria   By the way, if the guy is on here and reading this and needs a new front man for next year, hit me up. Happy to help.

There are a few. Palms comes to mind. They are usually on 50mm no mold. Which is what was ordered for the Tigers, but then they put it on a 48mm and said they don’t make the 50s anymore.
