Meat inside a split roll. Looks like a sandwich to me.
As a fellow Scandinavia, I can confirm that we're used to paying what's written. Even in fancy restaurants, tipping is appreciated but very much optional. And tax etc is of course included in the price.I was talking generally (not these 3%) - tax, tips... you never pay what's written on the menu.
I've been doing it for so long, I never even considered how messed up that is. Not just menus either. Just try staying in a Vegas hotel that charges $29 a night, only to get billed for $113 a night. As a fellow Scandinavia, I can confirm that we're used to paying what's written. Really, that's not what it means? Oh crap!
I never stopped thinking this. Until now.
Did the duck slur a string of incomprehensible insults at the dog before getting his arse kicked?

Thanks for ruining my weekend, jerk.
They argued over the bill…Did the duck slur a string of incomprehensible insults at the dog before getting his arse kicked?
If not, I'm underwhelmed.
Fowl pun, lol. They argued over the bill…
Not a US thing…it’s how credit card companies make money. You may be confusing this with sales tax. I think this is referring to the charge credit card companies put on the vendor isn’t it? In most cases the vendor just eats the 3%. In very few industries, usually where the mark up is very slim, vendors give a cash discount to avoid the service charge they would get. I don’t think more than 1% of vendors do this.
