faded spade 3.0 coming out (5 Viewers)

It's a Pre-sale

PRE-SALE: Faded Spade 3.0 Poker Playing Cards! Late August expected ship date.
It fascinates me that so many people seem so interested in pre-buying. I suppose if you’re a collector and you definitely want a setup. Or if you love to try new cards and you’re definitely going to try them.
But I know what kind of cards I like (as I would think most of you do.) And most cards, I don’t like. So why waste money on a setup that’s essentially being printed on mystery stock?
I’ll wait and hear feedback from the initial buyers, before I decide not to buy these.

I'm a degenerate and hadn't bought anything poker related for 6 days! Now I have 8 setups on their way (or not)...that'll keep me going for a couple of weeks!

I want to be paid for my review through PPF&F. I might even auction my review.

8 setups? Bridge? Poker?

I have a set in pre order, I’ll bring to one of your games after I get them in.

The Desjgns are almost as stiff as the 2.0 according to Dix and his experiments - https://www.pokerchipforum.com/resources/the-redneck-poker-card-database-2-0.76/

I'm surprised you're OK with them, unless you mean the Modiano stock, which I don't have...Good Luck to us on the 6th then!
The Desjgns pictured below are totally different stock. The only “stiff” Desjgns are the cards on the top pictured below. They are definitely stiff but not as stiff as the Faded Spades I have. I do hope Desjgn moves back to a softer stock for the next release. All their other cards are great even with the different stocks. Unfortunately the Modiano stuff was the best IMO
Not sure, these are what I have:

Hadn’t tried them in a while and yes, they are a little stiff, but nothing like the faded spades imo

Anyone want to bet on how many delays that they'll have? lol
 Actually quite surprise they will be even any delays for pre sales, since they aren’t like Products where it take a long processing time and they have enough time to know and problem solve the delay

It could be due to other reasons like

- not enough pre sales number
- manufacturing issue encountered
- Raw Material issues
- Shipment issues
- Printing issues

Some issues could be easily solve and most likely will be out by end Sep some may take longer up to few months
