Cheaters don't always pick spots that make sense to cheat, look at Postle. They get tripped up because of greed or ego and make calls that arouse suspicion like this instance.

IF you know your opponents exact hand it makes sense mathematically to make the call. But given the range one would normally assign to Garret here, a lot of his bluffs and semi-bluffs in this spot are still far ahead of her Jack-high.
Given she has results back to 2010 on Hendon Mob, she's not brand new to fucking poker, she has a significant history of play and her line and explanation make zero fucking sense here.
I can't wait until they prove it so all the people saying "ban garret" can shut the fuck up.
They never 'proved' the Postle cheating, even though nearly everyone agrees he was cheating. I wonder if this will follow the same path, with even less certainty given the limited number of streamed appearances and hand histories by her. And let's not forget, Ryan and Nick have a business to protect.

She made an awful call, probably misread her hand.
Garrettt got butthurt , asked her for the money back which is wrong imo.
She gave the money back which makes it very suspicious , which is also wrong .
We've seen all in calls with J high , Q high before and its obviously -EV but because its against Garrett everyone is making a big deal of it.
I wouldnt ever give the money back, you better investigate me well before asking for some money back .

all of this is probably true ... I would disagree with the money back part... giving money back, IMO, makes it less suspicious. In all my years, and reading all kinds of stories as well, never recall a cheater giving money back. But I've seen lots of instances when someone calls super light, gets very lucky, runner-runner wins a massive pot, and then apologizes for being a super donkey and offers some of the money back. Some take it, some don't.

I agree with Ivey and Persson's sentiments. Makes the most sense. She goofed and out of embarrassment, tried to word salad her way around everything. If she cheated, how? Listening to others and believe them when they stick up for the integrity and security of Hustler's game and stream.

I'm seeing 4 rings (2 on each hand) to start the hand (even the same an hour prior to THE hand) and the remainder of the session.
Garrett stayed for a couple hands after but visibly shaken.

That’s potentially a clue to how this happened without cheating. She may have a leak where if she perceives being attacked/targeted, she gets irrationally defensive

What is her background? In terms of poker experience and wealth?
Her behaviour and comments are odd. But given the context, it could be she is way out of her depth and her emotions/nerves are playing a role. She's playing nosebleeds on a stream with Gman and Phil Ivey. If she's just a rec, it's not hard to understand her nervous behavior and having a difficult time articulating her thought process.
Also, some of you guys are fucking lame. Always taking the low road. Making derogatory comments about her appearance is an indication of your character, not hers.

She has Hendon Mob results dating back to 2010, including some final tables and wins. She's being coached by Faraz Jakka. She's not some poker novice. I haven't seen her play previously but I've seen mention that on much lower stakes games she's been far more timid and willing to lay hands down. But now all of a sudden when she's playing for 10x the stakes she's hero calling and winning both runouts with Jack-high in a coin-flip situation with one card to come.
It just doesn't pass the sniff test for me. She claimed on Joeys podcast she made a bunch of money working in pharma or medical field (but it was "too technical" to describe) but that she's left that and is now "trying poker". She invited this Rip guy to the game, but I've heard he's the one who backed her.
So I don't know her financial situation, obviously she looks like she likes to spend money based on her appearance. But again, I think she's guilty af and I hope we get an answer one way or another from HCL
Totally fair. I try to never go after anybody’s appearance. At least not a woman’s. But those over-inflated lips are just a pet peeve of mine.
But you’re right - bad form.
Rip is staking or sleeping with her, or both. Couldn't be more obvious looking at his reaction to the whole thing.

To avoid being sexist and to just be rude to peoples appearances, I also think Persson looks like a midlife crisis dudebro and Mikki looks ridiculous with every inch of his body tatted up.
I am so uncomfortable with every aspect of Mikki. Have you taken a peek down that rabbit hole? I’d have to get a table change - his mere presence would tilt me.

Christian Soto today said she made a bizarre call against him at the WSOP this year too, and berated his play after the hand when she won. And she seems to have a chip on her shoulder a bit about being a woman and being pushed around by men in poker. Berkey today said that he has seen this mentality several times in female's he has coached.
I think she just got defensive and masked her embarrassment with arrogance.
