Services IMPORTANT CPC BULLETIN (11 Viewers)

I’m still no where close to having a final set design, so in the interest of seeing this chip made, I’m sharing it here.

Someone please make this chip (does not have to be Scrown), and send me a few samples:

Glad I was able to get my order in a few months back. I can’t wait for those to come in soon! Thanks for your support David! I can’t speak for everyone but you’ve done a great service to this community.

Deeply sad to hear this. I just got into the hobby a little over a year ago. I have purchased many samples from people with the hope of ordering a custom set one day. I doubt it will be in the budget before the closing. Best wishes to you Dave and thanks for making amazing custom chips for so many year.

This sucks. I am still a long time from finishing my first set. Sorry I couldn't contribute sooner.
All the best to David and thank you.

Thank you David for all you've done for this community and all the best with your next venture!

I love my Rounders set and hoped to pull the trigger on a custom set someday. Maybe this is the excuse my wallet needed

If someone from the forum is seriously considering taking over, I would be interested in getting involved. I run a software business and have good connections in marketing. A modern website and more streamlined ordering process could go a long way in attracting new customers outside this circle.

Noooooooooo!

I am.... just…. floored. … and genuinely saddened.

I’ve been planning my capstone cash and tourney sets for a while now and now will have to pic and accelerate only one of them to meet the deadline.

Won’t even have the funds but I’d be remiss if I didn’t take the opportunity to get one more set.

I’m very sad at learning this…. But I’m thankful for the CPC sets I have and will cherish them.

I do not know how I missed this earlier today other than I was in full transit mode from work to home.

No email (yet), but I'm as dismayed and disappointed, yet understanding, as most everyone here. Anyone who wants to do this is doing so as a pure passion project. In the era of TINA ceramics for home use, ICON chips for casinos, and Angel/Paulson slowly being shown the door from the bigger players in the game, this isn't a surprise. I've done the math before that we, as chippers, are a mere gnat to the windshield of the chip consumers in the world.

I'm crushed as a long-time ASM and now CPC customer. I just placed an add-on order last week for my Arizona Club set. Half as a necessity (I had some potential dirty stack issues with verison one) and half because I could. Despite the hiccups and speed pumps along the way, going all the way back to ASM Maine and Jim Blanchard, I've alwasy been a huge propoent of the folks making these beautiful pieces of art.

For @David Spragg, thanks for all you have done for all of us in the chipping community. I hope you, for everybody's sake, are able to find an equally enthuiastic and passionate steward of the craft of making these chips. It would be a shame to see this lost.

Very sad to hear! Will make sure my order is in too.

I'm part of the crowd that joined just too late to see ourselves obtain a custom CPC set. Thank you for your years of keeping these chips alive, so many beautiful sets came into existence under your care!! Best of luck on your future endeavors!!!

And if anyone is going in on the business and needs an electrical engineer, CAD operator, or hobbyist designer, I would love to offer my assistance :)

I’d love to squeeze in an order but will have to settle for this fine work on the secondary market.

Thank you so much for rescuing the business from the ASM Vegas ashes (that was no small feat!!) and extending the opportunity for us chippers another decade, it gave me the chance to build several incredible sets. Best of luck to the both of you with your future endeavors!
