Vendor Services IMPORTANT CPC BULLETIN (9 Viewers)

Wow, David and David, sorry to hear this, but what you brought to the chipping world will live on , my sincerest thanks, frank

Thank you for all you have done for us David and thank you sincerely for giving us notice and time to get our orders in by next spring.

I’m the proud owner of two CPC sets (cash and tournament) and I am going to top up and expand my cash set ASAP to allow for additional future growth and more tables as well as higher denomination chips to allow for inflation over the next few decades in case my game grows. I’ll likely order a whole new cash set next year before the deadline as well on the FDL mold I have been eyeing for years. I really, REALLY hope someone takes this over and keeps it going.

Thank you, David and David Sarles. I never got around to designing a custom CPC set, but as you know I have always appreciated your chips.

Thanks for keeping the wonder of these chips alive and thriving for the last 11 years, and re-introducing new molds, such as the small and large crown chips, which we thought we would never see again.

I’m in!

Over the last couple of years I’ve had a few people reach out to me to see if they could make a CPC set of my Biff Tannen’s Pleasure Paradise set. I was hesitant before but if it would help generate some more business for CPC I’m happy to let anyone use the design if they’d like at no charge. You just pay for the chips. Only thing I’d ask is that they are made on B mold and no changes to any edge spots or colors.

Sad news but all the best for your future endeavours. I hope the new owners can carry on your legacy.

Let’s see if we can get a custom set to New Zealand!

It is an understatement to say it's sad to see you go. I am but one of many satisfied customers over the years. It was a great pleasure meeting you at the Meet in the Suite in 2017. Best wishes on your retirement.

I recognize 5 in that photo, 4 who I have met in person. Good people!

Restating this here...

Dennis,

With the recently announced closure of CPC, what will become of Key West??

Notably, David did not announce the closure of CPC yet. He shared his intention to sell the business. While I am sure it gets harder with each transaction and with time, we have seen these particular assets and business change hands several times now and resume/continue business.

David with the news the Minimum order would still be 300 Chips to place an order? If someone wanted to add on with an order 100 or 200 that would not be allowed correct? Thanks.

From the website

"Minimum order size for add-ons and re-orders will be evaluated on a case by case basis and lowered if possible."

Great question. Interested in the response.

Also curious if lower quantities per label/denom would be available. Working on my V2 set, but also want to add on to my existing set.

I'm thankful to you @David Spragg that I had the opportunity to order a set of fully personalized hotstamp clay chips.
This has been the grail for me in this hobby.
What would our die become ? Will we remain the owners ?

Oh man, very sad to hear about this. My CPC set was a staple in our game for a long time. Wish you all the best!! That being said... that EWING mold looks awesome. I might need a good designer like @Toby to help me design a set!!

@David Spragg
Just curious, what are the chances of you making the roulette mold available to us as well?? I would love a set of CPC roulettes.
Right now the Roulette 'mold' consists of 20 loose cups and we have no spare cavity to install them in for setting it up and testing. Unless there was sufficient demand it would be hard to justify the work. Taking another mold out of commission and tying up a press and operator for a few days has a substantial cost.
The difference with the Ewing is that it was already setup from the distant past and I had made sample chips on it 5 years ago.

Just curious what “sufficient” demand would mean? 15,000 chips? 20,000? More?
