Classic Poker Chips - Last Call Mockups (7 Viewers)

I really need CPC to get these chips into production so I can't play with the colors anymore. I can't help myself making little changes I like better. Current version below, T500/T1000 have changed.

Are you locked in on the A-mold? Do you have a mold sample set or preferably even a shuffle stack of that mold and other molds you might be considering, or are you going by looks alone?

They have a different feel from most other CPC molds. Maybe they’ll break in nicely over time, but out of the box they feel very rough. I once owned a set of hot stamped A-molds from ASM (CPC predecessor) for a couple of years (didn’t see many games) and they never did it for me. Unless the theme is tied into the ”A”, I would consider other molds.

The main reason for the A-mold is they have the fastest delivery time. I actually liked the horsehead better but would take months longer and the difference in appearance was not enough to overcome that for me.

HHR has even more textured than A-mold. People seem to fall in two camps. They either like the more textured molds like HHR, B-Mold, etc or prefer the smoother molds like DSQ, LCrown etc. CSQ feels the most like a Paulson to me and has a unique feel brand new. Wish the outer ring wasn't so close to the edge though. Choices are a great to have though!!

Jesus dude, get the mold you like best. What’s a few months on a set you’ll be able to enjoy for the rest of your life?

Talk me off the ledge. How terrible an idea is this? T500, 1k, 5k, 25k

We had to go to an extreme to walk way back. As much more tweaking as I can get in by the 2nd still left to do but liking this direction. These are based around specific buildings/areas of campus. Very happy 4. Pretty happy with 3 and 2. Unsure about 1st chip. Will be hot stamped. I do have a hang up that I feel like hot stamped tournament sets are supposed to be solids and I am feeling weird about the complex spots but I think because they are all the same spot and the consistency of the mandarin red in it I am not too worried. Still, hung up.

Chip 1 and 3 look too similar, and could result in easy dirty stacks, IMO.

Yeah, think I fall in that textured mold category. In order of preference, completely independent of delivery time, my favorites were HHR, A-Mold, B-Mold, Jockey and CSQ. It seems l also like the inner and outer rings.

I prefer the textured as well. I have shuffle stacks of B-mold and Jockey and they feel fantastic broken in. CSQ feels really good straight from the factory.

And done. Unless someone here notices something extremely compelling this is what I will be going with. Just need to sort out hot stamps now but that's just logistical decisions on how to organize dies to be cost effective. Dipped into older marketing material colors instead of using the all red and really like where these ended up.

Very nice. I think you will be happier with the variety of colors. They are sharp.

Considering adding a green to convert my T100 set to T25. Maybe all out to 200/200/100/200/100 to hold me over forever.

Since I'm already adding 600 more chips, why not some bounties? Undecided between 'X' vs 'BOUNTY' and the 1/4 pie orientation. I kind of like the vertical line because it looks a bit like a scope sight which fits the theme of a bounty.

I chose the same color combo but in half pie for a chip in one of my next set ;)

I hate feeling derivative because I've seen similarly styled ones around, but I love the Canary/Light Chocolate combo, and I wanted a spot pattern very different from the rest of the chips.

Of course I like your bounty chip a lot

Everyone is posting about getting sets made before CPC closes their doors so much that it appears Jim and CPC will have enough "final" orders to last them into 2027.
Does beg a good question.. lots of orders, but I assume the qty per order is also higher as well... look forward to seeing all the monster sets arrive.

I decided not to do an add-on to my previous set and instead build a completely new one. I’m fully expecting to wait a very long time due to the order volume.
