Me crazy son of a b*tch, me did it…
Not really a mock-up, but:

I am not sure if I want to reveal anything before this order arrives, but I can say this: It’ll have a 1/4PIE and this will be on the Elephant & Crown mold, and currently this is the only E&C order. According to David this means that this might be the last mold that‘ll run. A true last call…

The thought that this might be one of the last sets that gets manufactured by CPC is pretty cool. But this also means that today starts a very looooong period of waiting & Impatience.

Order officially submitted and paid........ 1,400 chips on CSQ. David estimated 6-8 weeks until the mold runs and it will run for 3-4 months. Now we wait......

Designer is finishing up the inlays but they will follow my cash set design. Rings will be color matched to one of the edge spots.

I will be sending the wire this week on an 1100 chip E&C tourney set. So that will help, orrrr we both wait....... Either way, super excited.

Putting together my first custom set with CPC. Need some refinement on the design (different fonts, more consistent animal images, image/text placement, etc)

Inspiration from the Bridge City Poker, Silver Nugget, Broken Bell, J Finney's, and that general vibe: red denomination, black text, 'cut-out'-style image

The idea is to have each denomination have a different fantasy location. Those in the know will recognize these as subtle (or perhaps not so subtle) bitcoin references. Hit $100k (briefly, lol, perhaps never again!), time to celebrate with a little gift to myself.

Planning a 600 chip set, perhaps horrendously allocated at 150 (25c), 150 (1), 150 (5), 100 (25), 50 (100). Cash games up to 8 players, flexible for playing 25c/50c, 50c/$1, $1/$2, or $2/$5. With my current group it's mostly extremely low stakes so these would all be further fractionalized but I just don't want nickel denominations printed.

Any feedback welcome! Perhaps I'm stepping on some landmines without realizing it. Thanks

***edit 1*** 2nd image somewhat fixed up

***edit 2*** better font all around, updated colors, etc. Need to revise the animal illustrations but getting close! The bear is of course copied from the CPC Rounder set, while the other four animals have simply been generated in X's Grok. Need more consistency, less detail, more of the "cutout"/Stencil look

I like it tbh. If going for a spot progression, the 1/4 pie is a bit out of place (although it is a nice pattern on its own). Maybe try a 4d14?
The 25 and 100 are a bit close also in regard of color choice.
I‘d try a green 25 with 4d14 in lighter colors (butterscotch, pink, light choc, light blue)

Agreed that the 25 and 100 denominations are close. Also blue 1 and blue spot on the 5, have you tried a different blue, or maybe a lavender/purple on the 5? Finally, calling out that the CSQ is prone to flea bites because the space between the edge and first debossed ring is narrow (e.g. compared to Horsehead or Jockey). It probably won't be too much of an issue if you have a proper table with a rail or carpet under regular table.

As others have said, I foresee dirty stacks if/when the $25 and $100 share the table. Perhaps change the lt green on the $100 to dg peach?

Placing my Ewing order on the 30th.

I wonder if all this volume will motivate CPC to reconsider....?
