Welp, guess I gotta get my order in before it’s to late. Glad I’ve got time to save up. Bummer yall closed though :(

Sorry to hear that! Thank you David! It was an era of awesome work! and I'm so glad I got my set. Maybe I'll make a small addition right away. But, at this point I'm surprised no one has thought of another special set....
@Tommy , can we start a thread to collect donations and discuss the design of a gift set from all of us for David himself? :-)
Unfortunately I don't know his partner, but I don't think an extra $5 will be a problem...

CPC has been my passion for the last 11 years. However it is time to move on. Through all the ups and downs it’s been my pleasure to serve you. My partner and I will be winding down our ownership and hope another entrepreneur might have interest in the business.

If this is something you might entertain contact me ASAP.

If there is no interest among our customers we will list the business for sale to the public.

For now we plan to accept our last orders on April 27, 2025. Once the current mold cycle is complete then every mold will be installed at least once to make sure that every order received is completed. Please be aware this could be a long process depending on the number of orders.

Stock design chips will also continue to be produced and will no doubt be available for a considerable time.

We will be contacting every customer from the past 11 years to inform them and give them the opportunity to place orders. There will be an annual price increase for orders not placed and paid for by end of day January 3, 2025 but that will be the final increase.

It would obviously help us greatly to receive a steady flow of orders between now and the end date. Remember it is not necessary to have your final artwork ready to place an order, there will be plenty of time to accommodate everyone.

The EWING Mold is going to be made available for non-casino orders starting now, although it won’t be added to the Chip Design Tool at present. Samples are available for purchase and details will be added to the website shortly.

Owners, CPC
Mr. David and Mr. David………… your passion has made a lot of people very happy. Regardless of what your motives were or were not (as I have read a lot of supportive comments and a lot of bashing)…….; it really doesn’t matter. You have people the opportunity to express themselves and see their dream chips come to life. Thank you for that opportunity. I am truly sad, but as a business owner, I understand. I wish you both prosperity in your future endeavors.

David has been so wonderful in my dealings with him. I’ve asked questions, gotten answers, and he’s always been a pro. I am gonna get an order in before this chapter closes…a solid tourney set on scroll mold (simply because I can’t put together a good looking set with edge spots), using bright colors. I want to have my own version of the CPC legacy.

Wishing you all nothing but the best in the next adventure.

Wow, sorry to hear this. I think CPC should consider doing a commemorative chip that shows the years of operation and their logo. Something we can all buy for like $25 each as a thank you for the years of great service.

Glad I got my orders in earlier this year. I'll try to come up with one last custom chip for the scrown mold to add to my set.

Thank you for all of your time and effort working with some very demanding customers. Your workmanship and quality were always first rate. Good luck to you in your next endeavors.

I’ve taken off a grand total of 34.5 hours this calendar year (not including 6 of the 9 government holidays… 3 of which I worked)

So yeah… vacation is overrrated!!!

(No it’s not. I’m burned out!!!)
And those were all for meet ups.

This man chips.

I have the holiday week off but may be able to earn some of the vacation back as comp time as our factory will be up and running during break and I have some database work to do.

Sadly, most of my time off this year was FMLA and bereavement. I have a lot banked (just over 4 weeks). Once I find a house- and dog-sitter for the spring, I'm getting on a plane somewhere, though.

Doing a custom set has been on the bucket list for ages but the timeline has moved up as a result of recent news and an influx of cash. I think I'm done or close to done with 3 of the 7 designs so far. Total order will be in the 1200-1500 range and will cost.. a bit.. according to the Excel. Next step, inlay artist hunting.
