100% this. Literally no one outside this forum gives a rip. Hell most people in this forum don't give a rip. So few people play enough home poker that flea bites will become an issue on RHC chips that it doesn't matter, and if you do play enough to where they become noticeable the players care more about the game than the chips anyway so it's still a non issue.

I guess there is an exception to every rule.
Yeah, I left IHCs off on purpose, though personally, I've come to realize I'm not a huge fan of having IHC mixed in with my sets (actually just in the process of swapping out the IHC $20 and $100 denoms in my Aurora Star set for murdered THC chips). All IHC sets on the other hand?

I think ihc look cool in a set but I had some and didn’t really like playing with them. I’d rather have all 39mm. It just feels right.

Yes, the 43mm chips with the Inverted Hat & Cane (aka IHC). All chips in this sale $1k and up are IHCs.

There are those who only like THC chips if they are all SCV or LCV, or all the denoms have to be the same colour and the same shade or the chips have to be the same weight or wear has to match exactly or have the same textured inlay or or or or.... just wait, they'll all be buying RHC chips in this sale.
For me, I try to get as close to a casino quality experience I can. If the casino is fine with THC/RHC, I'm fine with it. The casinos have no issue mixing ceramic, plastic and clay, so who cares about a slight difference in mold.

Noone is stopping you. It's a set that was designed like this for better or worse. I would not call the person responsible for the design a genius (look at those giant inlay 25ks) but of course you can use it as a set.
If I were to design one myself... Well I think I made my stance on this clear by now.
Look, don't get me wrong...I'd love it if all the chips were THC.
But I guess I'm not as turned away by the mix as some others are. To each his own!

I'm glad I'm old school from when it was uphill and head wind both ways so I was never spoiled into this RHC/THC thing. Also labels weren't really a thing back then, and I don't even care about edge progression so I can easily build a "custom" paulson set for <$1/chip. That's a luxury that many people have surpassed, but I'm still here smiling. Ignorance is bliss!
I thought it had been overlooked but apparently there was no restriction, I was looking at the wrong sale thread
