You can either get a haul of common chips, or a select couple racks, but if you log in, have your PayPal and computer ready, you are going to get something if you are personably reasonable.
Same, but shifted to others that I was able to get. Looking forward to the upcoming cleaning sessions. Not necessarily true. I was logged in to PayPal, sitting there hitting “refresh” until the second the sale started, and only wanted one denom. Clicked as fast as I could. Still…. Nope.
Oh well. I need more chips like I need a hole in my head.
The way those chips look this is how I picture all of you when you get themSame, but shifted to others that I was able to get. Looking forward to the upcoming cleaning sessions.

I have never seen chips as dirty as those things.
Any soot covered mint $5’s?
I want to open a card room just so I can call it “The Grailier”For me the deal breaker in the inlaid thc 1s (and some of the 2s) were that the inlays are oversized and appear to be cutting into the mold, not so much the condition and dirt.
The yellow 5s are the story of this sale either way - or at least the reason I even considered getting more chipe. The 1s and 2s are just accessories to buy with your yellows.
If there are that’s kind of crazy, I bought it expecting them to all be severely beat up and still feel like I got a good deal. The Elsinore 5 in mint condition is pretty well a grail chip for half the forum. The only thing that could make it grailier would be bear claw spot pattern.
Yup. For the crowd that’s used to paying a premium for unleaded THCs with fantastic colors with the intent of relabeling, these seemed perfect. But they’re not cheap enough to flip for profit, so maybe we’re learning something?Surprised to the $4's are still there. Honestly one of the best chips in there sale
If I had any interest in yellow $5s I’d have tried to buy max and cherry picked, because some of them looked to be in decent shape. Not mint, but close to the stand on edge range? But I’m guessing a bunch of people who love yellow $5s did exactly that,If there are that’s kind of crazy, I bought it expecting them to all be severely beat up and still feel like I got a good deal. I drink a lot but from that pic none of those look to be the standing on edge typeIf I had any interest in yellow $5s I’d have tried to buy max and cherry picked, because some of them looked to be in decent shape. Haha, very true. Personally, I’d be great with 100 like these two, but you’d probably have to pick through more than 500 to get there.I drink a lot but from that pic none of those look to be the standing on edge type
Ya this was an interesting sale to watch. I didn’t participate, not my thing.Haha, very true. Personally, I’d be great with 100 like these two, but you’d probably have to pick through more than 500 to get there.

This is my plan. I went with the hots stamps though, thinking in those two pics that they looked like they might be in a bit better condition. Plus I may end up milling them and making them 20s. Milling a HS is much less work than murdering an inlay, plus I have a policy of not murdering shaped inlays. All depends on how many nice ones I can get out of my 400 which way I go.If I had any interest in yellow $5s I’d have tried to buy max and cherry picked, because some of them looked to be in decent shape. Is milling really less work than removing an inlay? This is my plan. I went with the hots stamps though, thinking in those two pics that they looked like they might be in a bit better condition. By the time you’re done cleaning them there will be nothing left but a paper thin inlay and tearsThe way those chips look this is how I picture all of you when you get them

It is for me. I can mill about 40-50 chips in an hour. My murder experience is much worse. I've only tried it on one type of chip so far, and literally worked for about 30 minutes on one chip!!! Yes, I've read all the tutorials. Yes, I've bought all the correct tools. Yes, I have NPR. My experience is very limited, but these chips I have are not fun to murder. I gave up after that one chip, and I'll go back and try again when I have some free time. Maybe I'll eventually get the process down. I hope so. Otherwise I'm going to pay someone to murder them for me.Is milling really less work than removing an inlay?
With hot stamps, I watch very closely. As soon as all the HS is gone, I stop!Milling is really easy, but you need the right bit. Getting it centered perfectly on an often off-center chip can be tricky, but gets easier the more you do.
Hardest part for me is getting the depth just right. Each chip is a bit different, so I do it manually. It's very easy to go too deep.
My rule is, just when I think I need to take a little bit more off...Stop! it's perfect.

I’m sorry man, I bet they were extremely rare, whatever it was you wanted. Probably only a couple racks total. Not necessarily true. I was logged in to PayPal, sitting there hitting “refresh” until the second the sale started, and only wanted one denom. Clicked as fast as I could. Still…. Nope.
