Happy birthday to me. $150 out the door.

So I turned 45 today. Don’t really feel it. I posted several pages ago about setting some goals for myself and drinking bourbon as I reach them. To celebrate, because corn whiskey is effin tasty. Anyway, that process started this week, which is a good thing, because I keep adding tiers to my goal chart.

I wish some of you lived closer. I’d have you over to bust open some of these bottles. Goal one is close and will be the 1792 Full Proof.

Now a little about my palate. I can remember what I like and don’t like, but all that “hint of vanilla” and “whiff of persimmon and ambergris” snooty falooty stuff goes right over my head. Comparisons going back in time are impossible for me. So I intend to open these and pair them with worthy opponents, first neat , then on ice. I will seek advice from the crowd on who the opponents should be. For example, I can compare the 1792 Full Proof to either an EC BP A119 or a Jack Daniels barrel strength. Tier two will be to open the three Makers Marks (regular, 101, cask strength). Tier three might be the McKenna BiB versus a 2019 Dickel BiB. You get the idea.

I think it will be fun. There are still three openings in my tier schedule. One I can find locally. The other two I might need some assistance. Happy drinking y’all.

Just got my first N and the S. Thanks to @Saoliver for the L and the B to come. Now I just need the T and the other NView attachment 621870

Just realized I already have the T. So it is just the first N - (right legs closer together). I bet it will be like finding Boardwalk in the Mcdonald's Monopoly games LOL. I am not buying any Blanton's until it is THAT N cork!!

Are the Ns different? :ROFLMAO:

Ok, I did not realize that Noah's Mill and Rowan's Creek were Willett. I thought I owned ZERO Willett. That said I lean toward Noah's, it is just plain better imo. Can you guys tell me which Willet is the BEST? I would like to try more that are not so nutty and cinnamony which is a word I may have just made up. --- edit: My wife corrected me, the correct descriptor is Red Hots (the candy)

Also, I saw several Joseph Magnus bourbons on the shelf the other day....which one do I buy? THANKS WHISKEY BRO BRO's!!
