Oogie = Corry > Scorch > 10 > Beastie > An Oa

Between Oogie and Corry, it's a mood thing for me. Oogie is sherried and Corry has some virgin French Oak in it.

I don't think I'll buy the Beastie again. It is not bad but the 10 is way better for me, for not a whole lot of price difference (opposite opinion of @JustDave). The An Oa is not bad either but it's too mild for me. A good introduction to 'Beg though.
Totally understand the sentiment. For some reason I see Beastie on sale pretty steeply frequently but the 10 is always full price or 'discounted 5%'.

I think if you can get the Uigeadail or Corryvreckan it's kinda 'why buy anything else'.

I certainly wouldn't spend Scorch money again.

I edit my post above to explain the my pricing comment, man. The Beastie was launched for $5 less than the 10. I haven't seen prices move much on the beastie myself but saw the 10 go up. Glad to see you and Scott are seeing that bottle discounted, as it should be, LOL!!!

Totally agree! Oogie and Corry are FIRE!!!

I like the Scorch myself but was expecting it to be close to the Alligator (same cask treatment) but it was far from the majesty of the Gator. Not as good as Oogie and Corry and more expensive, LOL!!! One and done for me! LOL!!!

lol, yeah, ardbeg 10 has gotten a lot more expensive than it should be

I remember thinking right after the launching of the Wee Beastie, that the price point they chose was to justify the increase on the 10, LOL!!! It is their cash cow after all and its sale volume is way, way larger than the WB’s… It seems it’s working.

A local shop upstate’s manager: “no one seems to like rye, so you can have two of my three bottles if you like.”

It would be rude not to….

Guessing $125 is msrp for that? I’d offer to trade some samples but I’m afraid I would like it.

MSRP on B.H. Toast is about $50. $80 is not surprising if it is good, because it is new and people WANT IT NOW.

Bread knife and a hammer to make cubes off the block. Cut a groove and lightly pop with hammer. You cut vertical bars, then get 3-4 cubes from that.

Parring knife to shape/shave the edges or to adjust size for the glass type you have.

A small grater can shape the cubes into whatever you want

x2 - it's way easier than it looks. A simple score and hit with a hammer yields really crisp and straight cuts.

More Starlights and others showed up yesterday. I had been waiting all day for the 'you must sign for this' package and passed a UPS truck near my house after taking my daughter to martial arts. Saw the 'we missed you note on my door' and sped off down the street to find him.

Unfortunately 2 bottles were missing from my shipment! already contacted the company and got a refund but half the reason I ordered in the first place was to get those one's that were already 'sold out'.
