I’m going to have it tonight. Maybe run it against another 10yr 100proof single barrel: Henry McKenna.Bought a bottle for a friend, and one for myself! Anyone tried this yet? Seems to be selling out everywhere.

I am interested. That might be a tough comparison.....depends on the bottle of McKenna given the inconsistency, let us know!! (also which barrel of Mckenna). i want to do the same, maybe on my day off.I’m going to have it tonight. Maybe run it against another 10yr 100proof single barrel: Henry McKenna.

I’ve got a single barrel Eagle Rare too, but that’s only 90 proof. Why not? Let’s get crazy.Tried it and like it! However, I need some more pours to develop my official opinion on it. Comparing it against the McKenna sounds like a cool idea like Scott is doing
LFG!Gonna let Scott pour his before I comment. You know why? It's outta respect.
Opened them both just a few days ago.I will try this again soon. Did you just open your Rebel? It may take a few...
This is one of their worst offerings. MM 101 and the wood finishing series FAE 01, however, are two of the best bourbons for the price. The best cask strength MM anything I've tried was from 2015.View attachment 798076
This is meh. I still have a few limited releases that I can try. 21 FAE-01 and 20 SE4-PR5. But Makers Mark isn't impressing me here.
I only have 4, would love to try the others!Any thoughts on Kentucky Owl Rye Batch 2, 11 year old? Found a place selling it for $180.
This might be my favorite of the few Booker’s that I’ve had. It doesn’t punch you with the proof like other Booker’s or Knob Creek single barrels do for me. It is very balanced with dark fruit, cocoa, vanilla and spice, then ramps up the heat. The staple Beam peanut comes through towards the end then finishes on a sweet note. Maybe a dark cherry.

Wasn't that was a $60 bottle only a few years ago? Saw it at one of my locals yesterday for $119!This might be my favorite of the few Booker’s that I’ve had.
