For those of you who have acquired a Weller 12, how have you done it?

In all seriousness, I made friends with a store owner for over a year and bought most of my bottles from him. Got it at 1.5x retail.

I got one bottle that I gave to a friend. It was around Christmas time and the owner of the random shop I was at just said “hey, I’ve got something you might be interested in”

I haven't had any of this year's batches yet, is there a consensus on one?

I think I liked the B521 a hair more than the A121, but they were very close. Last year's C920 was one of the best offerings to date IMHO.

Did a mini flight of these last night during a tourney (C920, A121 & B521), and I definitely enjoyed B521 better than A121, even though B521 is the lowest proof ECBP offering yet. C920 is still the best though :D

It was a nice chance to do a bunch of A-B comparisons between the base spirit and then all of the different ways that it was finished.

Cuvee cask was the best and probably the only one I'd actually buy depending on price(looks like $85 a bottle so probably not). The port was solid. The rest were nothing special and I'd be challenged to tell you that they were finished at all unless I was matching them against the unfinished. The bourbon was worse than the stock.

$299.95, unfortunately. I stand behind the fact that it is one of the best whiskeys I have ever had. This is my 4th bottle. I'll stop here, lol
I could have purchased three or four of these by now. As good as they are, the price tag scares off just about everybody and they aren’t tough to find around me. I still don’t want one, but it’s cool to see them and know the juice is great.

Picked up two to be sent out. None for me. I’ll consider stopping by and getting one tomorrow if there’s any left.
How's the tax in NC on a $90 bottle of alcohol? Here in Indiana it's the usual 7%. I found my RemRepV for $80, so $86 after tax. No complaints here.
